My vote is for the Grand Theft Auto series. From the moment I saw GTA III, I was hooked, I went out and bought the game and played it for hours straight. I didn't even do any missions. i just roamed the city and had fun. There are a bunch of GTA knock offs out there but no matter what different features they try to add, GTA is still leading.
Another series I'd like to mention, may not be the best, but I loved playing the Jak & Daxter series. Such a fun platformers but at the same time, does fall into the catagory I mentioned above. Nonetheless, I love the characters and story so much.
No, you should not sell it. You'll regret it, I swear. If what you say is true, then save your PS2 and quality titles. Even if you never touch them, at least use it as decoration or something. I used to sell my stuff all the time to independant game stores near my area and I regret doing that so much. They rip you off big time.
+The poster above is absolutly right. You won't get much for your PS2. 20-30 bucks at most. Just keep it and if you're looking to buy something, then just save your money up.
*EDIT* and if you're wondering, you'll probably get around 3-7 dollars for each game. It's a shame how people buy these things for $50 and sell them for less than 1/5 later on.
Jak & Daxter, from the Jak & Daxter series
Ratchet & Clabk, from the Ratchet & Clabk series
Kratos, from the God of War series
I loved playing as these characters.
I got one once that was 16mb and it was really cool but everytime you wanted to play a game on that memory card you had to load a disc first. It was freakin annoying and then I losted the disc with blew! :( So I probably would stick to the normal ones. They are just easier.

Oh man yeah. I had the same one and for the first 2 months I had it, I had no idea how to use it. Later I found out how to work it but I bought a new one anyways because I couldn't stand loading the disk for every damn time I opened the PS2.
I'd say no. I don't see how it could be hazardous to either tha game or the console.
1. You're keeping the game sheltered pretty nicely, with no movement within the PS2.
2. The PS2 is off s... well it's off so I guess nothing at all is going on.
I wouldn't risk it in fear of maybe forgetting the game was inside and shaking the console may cause the game to move out of it's disk tray.
That doesn't come much of a surprise. But PS2 does still have life in it. I mean the games that came out for PS2 were some of the best I've ever seen and it's hard for me to just drop them right away. Hell, I'm trying to cash in on all the games that I wanted to play but didn't feel like paying $50 for. I just bought the whole Hitman trilogy for like $30 and I'm also goign back for games that I never had a chance to play like Burnout 3, MGS 2 and 3, Virtua Fighter etc...
And whenever Okami's price drops down to $20 I'll get that too.
Alright, it kills me to say it but you don't really have to play Jak & Daxter to enjoy the legacy. The game is mainly one of those Crash Bandicoot platformers whereas Jak 2 & 3 will remind you a little of the GTA series. If you're gonna play, play Jak 2 first (it's pretty hard) then Jak 3 so you get a full understanding of the story.
Oh and you don't need to touch Jak X at all. Just focus on 2 & 3 and you should be good. Dont' count the first one out too soon though. It's a great game in it's own right and easily one of the best platformers I've played.
