Gamers vs. console manufactures... we have spoken!
Console wars are over, us vs manufactures has begun, today major victory for gamers everywhere. Now, to get rid of the kinetic that needs to be always connected. We might actually have a good gen with the Xbone and PS4
@Balian86 @MADDjoe I agree that just because your in the military doesn't mean you automatically get respect, respect is earned, but your other comment disrespected the majority of the individuals who join for there country (your friends included). Just because we game doesn't make us idiots or killers (like another individual said) in any sense. I do however love my country with all its faults, and I dislike what Microsoft has said about soldiers having to #dealwithit when comes to this awful policy of having a system with DRM built into. That's why they lost my respect, and my money.
Already got my pre-order PS4...and after that comment from Microsoft yesterday about the military having to "#dealwithit" on the "always-connected" crap. I canceled my xbox live. You don't mess with our troops (thats Fup). Microsoft can keep there crap I'm not buying.
After just reading what Don Mattrick said about if you don't have an internet connection or have a bad connection to just buy a last gen system. I officially hate Microsoft. He apparently told a military member who works on a sub with no internet to buy a last gen console if you don't have the connection for the "24 check-in" process (aka #dealwithit). Microsoft doesn't care about their customers or gamers. I loved my 360, but after this comment I trading it in for some ps3 games or steam cards. What an arse!
Don Mattrick is a moron, and knows nothing about gamers in the slightest. Microsoft went lost their F-ing minds. This arrogant little punk is telling military guys who are deployed that they don't get the latest and greatest because of having to deploy and to deal with it like Orth said. I swear Microsoft keeps digging their own grave deeper and deeper.
Gamer policy- dont buy the xbone, for coming up with policies that bring about the fall of console gaming. DRM is bad business. Need to be connected to internet to play single player game is bad business that why steam has an offline mode.
