I have to admit after seeing Sony's Gamescom conference I'm now sure I will pick up the Vita by the end of the year. The Cross buy program is really good, and if they get a lot of publishers committing to this then that will only allow more profit for them as the Vita will prove it has something consumers recognise as something rewarding. As well as seeing the games, I can't wait to see what more Sony has coming for the Vita.
The PS3 is definitely worth it for the exclusives: - Uncharted 1/2/3 - Resistance 1/2/3 - Killzone 2/3 - God of War 3 - Motorstorm 1/2/3 These are just to name a few and they are all great games, and many more exclusives yet to come.
Had been waiting along time for this, heard rumours for a few years about whether it was in development or not. For it now to be confirmed is absolutely brilliant news and I look forward to finding out more information and seeing first gameplay in the future.
Best: - Assassin's Creed II (Excellent new gameplay features, great setting, and introduced my favourite gaming protagonist) - Infamous 2 (I prefer the new Cole and the improved cast of characters, as well as story and setting being enhanced) - Battlefield 3 (A campaign actually worth playing, and much improved multiplayer) Worst: - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (Just for the fact it was far too similar and there was no real great change) - Call of Juarez: The Cartel (By far worse than Bound in Blood, poor in nearly every way) Probably more than this, but that is what I can think of, and of course it is MY opinion.
I'd say if you enjoyed Assassin's Creed II then you should pick up both Brotherhood and Revelations. Ezio's story continues in both of those games, plus desmond's story in the present time progresses in brotherhood and you can find out more of his backstory if you choose to play his sections within revelations.
- Borderlands 2 - Assassin's Creed III - Medal of Honor: Warfighter - Need for Speed: Most Wanted - Fifa 13 Those are the games I plan on buying before the end of the year.
