Personally, the players from the press that deliberately switch their awesome pistol for a lamer weapon or switch it for a cool weapon instead of switching the Assault Rifle for said weapon really irk me. No hate on the AR, just my 2 cents. People that don't use the AR at all, even when it would be better, annoy me.
too bad its still sub-hd, like im going to be looking at the gun the whole game

there have been numerous confirmed reports that reach is sub-hd, it has been tested and its below 720p, its somewhere around 640p. i agree reach looks better then halo 3 but its still sub-hd
It is a good deal better than 640p, it is 1152X720, which is probably not noticable to most.
Yes it will! If they developed Rage on PS3 before porting it to 360 that is. Almost ALL multi-platform games are developed on PC or 360 first then port to PS3. There's no doubt PS3 will look the worst of all versions. The only flukes are Oblivion (a year later it released on 360 and PC), BioShock (same as Oblivion), Dragon Age: Origins (I have no idea why PS3 looks and runs better than 360). I wonder how much of RDR had 2 separated teams to develop on each platform are true. The game is identical, thus 360 version looks a little bit better.Kleeyook
Dragon age run better on X360, PS3 looks better, think they also said because of disc space.
Caramack already said teh X360 version would have inferior textures in places people wouldn't really see(unless you are looking for it) because of disc space, and remember he is doin a completly different way of renedering, so traditional way could be worse for one of the consoles.

the only reason it "beats" KZ2 is because it uses metal armors instead of actual fabric, get maya or something like that, do some modeling and then you can talk about "beating" 360 shoots all use this cheesy trick, you need less polygons and its far easier beating the visual if you just do it with metal. lets see some fabric cloths instead of senseless metal armors in those halos and gears then put them head to head with killzones and uncharteds acutallyit has more polys so it immediatly wins :P :)\
I have a hard time believing that the PS3 doing 1.2million polies/frame @ 30 vs. 4million@30 for the X360.
