I love season 1, I applaud how they didn't oversimplify it and really left us to figure the story out and put things together ourselves...

on the surface Westworld is a action packed sci-fi western dystopia of sorts but the more layers you pull back the more depth that is revealed....it's really about existence, what really is life? are we defined by struggle or morality? are we the sum of all our choices and our parents wants?? is creating synthetic life in our own image the best thing to do?? and is it also good or bad that we could build a safe haven where we can act on our dark sides then go back home like nothing happened or do these acts of cruelty matter?? and if so what do we do about it?? at least that's some of what I get out of it....

I doubt the song will be in the movie kinda like Drowning Pool's Bodies wasn't in Rambo 4 yet they had that sh**t song in the trailer....

the action and plot sounds about right....but I bet even the plot reveal is a bit of a misdirect....at least that's what i'd do...on the other hand I could be overthinking it lolz

@gamingdevil800: I would say the fail was UFG, look at their history they made 2 kart racers that failed to match Mario Kart and both suffered the same issues, slow loads, overly hard difficulty & really not good racing....

Mario kart is easy, has a deep challenge to it and is fun for the most part [when you aren't being bombarded with the same attacks nonstop]

Mod Nation racers, then Sleeping dogs, LBP Karting, TR Definitive, Halo MCC, Disney Infinity 3.0, then the 2 failed games and closure.....

if you really look at em they had 3 mediocre games that sold better than the rest and a series of failures that lead to their closure....why were they the ones remastering games?? seems odd to me.....

IDK, I was never a big fan of the True Crime games, I liked the second one cus it improved on the first one but I wasn't looking forward to a third one and Sleeping Dogs kinda had the right idea but it woulda been better if they just copied Yakuza and made it a brawler, you're just some guy who wades through the filth to exact revenge or something, the complicated you're a undercover cop meant to take down the gangs from the inside just complicated any decisions you might make.....

but yeah replicate the density of 10 square blocks and keep you in Chinatown as you take out the trash, that'd be a fun game....

I enjoyed the first season, I need to go back through it at some point but definitely looking forward to season 2....

@heqteur: wrong......the new crap is tone deaf and it's going nowhere....

at least the prequels tried....the smartest thing George could have done on the prequels was write the script then hand it over to a sci-fi screen writer and have then fix the dialog to say the same thing in a better way and to improve some of the overall narrative so it makes sense and fits the originals...

the biggest reasons the prequels failed was 1 Jar jar being a complete and utter moronic clutz who couldn't even talk right....

2 having Anakin say some of the stupidest stuff, the space angel bit was kinda cute but most of the rest was eh [,ore episode 2 and 3 dialog]

3 the overuse of CGI, digitally replicating a massive battle group is fine but when you enter into the realm of the most iconic characters [clone troopers] and you're making em CGI that's a problem, when like every alien is a CGI character and not a guy in a suit, when you aren't doing models and stop motion as much as you can., when you aren't using CGI as a tool and a way to fill in what you absolutely can not do that's a problem, a big one

4 the mistakes made are so glaring that it's hard to see the really awesome bits....

here's the awesome side of the prequels....

1 some of the best space battles are in the prequels, battle in space over naboo, Obi wan vs Jango Fett, battle of Coruscant

2 some of the best jedi battles are in the prequels, Obi Wan & Qui Gon vs Darth Maul, Mace & Jedi vs Palpatine, Anakin & Obi Wan v Dooku [both fights], Obi Wan v Grievious, Anakin V Obi Wan....

3 we see a sequence way better than the speeder bike chase, the pod Race is one of the best bits in the prequels

4 Revenge Of The Sith had a cool battle montage of various locations for the order 66 sequence

5 seeing Kashyyk in film was cool

6 Ewan mcGregor as Obi Wan started as just some guy but evolved into okay I can see now how he becomes the wisened jedi master in ANH....that evolution is awesome to see....

7 R2 gets many moments to shine and we get to see his origin was that of a hero, saving the heroes as they escape and he never stopped serving that role....

8 the villains were memorable, Maul, the trade Federation, Sidious, Tyranus, Sebulba, Grievious

i find nothing memorable about the new SW movies other than how stupid they are....
