If he was black, then he wouldve not bashed the movie in the way that he did, because he wouldve understood the situation better. Thats all I was saying. You are taking it to a whole other level.MJ4040
As I said before, race has nothing to do with my feelings towards the film, and as I posted even Armond White, a black reviewer who holds race very high in his view of films, hated Precious because of the situation/story told. You dont have to be white to not like the film or have any interest in it.
I think MJ4040 is basically telling us that Precious is a very "black community"/"black culture" type thing which it certainly is no doubt. Anybody of any race can enjoy it but it just seems to mean more to blacks. Kind of like how Miracle on Ice won't appeal to many people outside the white community.
Yea, because I really dont care to see that film at all.
[QUOTE="MJ4040"][QUOTE="Ultrabeatdown55"]Then it all comes down to why it matters. The film just simply doesn't suit his tastes. There was no need to assume his race.

If you are depressed, its simple, you shouldnt be listening to a song like this. lol

AxeStrangler
your just saying that because he played it at the Michael Jackson memorial thing :P, but it is indeed a sad song.... Actually no. But that was a good catch though.
[QUOTE="MJ4040"][QUOTE="Ultrabeatdown55"]Yes but you are assuming that because he is white is why he has no interest in the film, which means that you are calling him a racist.Ultrabeatdown55
No, I called out his preferences, not whether or not he hates someone. Then it all comes down to why it matters. The film just simply doesn't suit his tastes. There was no need to assume his race. OH EHM GEE. He's not interested in a movie. He's racist!!! OMG!!! Nerd_Man
lol, I didnt say anything like that.

Switlerland, then Sweden, and no one cares about Sudan.wii60_3
You actually are right. People are ignorant and selfish, so they really dont care about things like Genocide that doesnt concern them.
We could fix the genocide overnight by air-dropping in guns for the people being genocided on, but that's not politically correct. yeah uh... I dont see that working out to well. Heres some trivia... Did you know that China supplies guns to the people who are doing the Genocide in Africa? I would say something about China right now, but I would get modded.
