You shouldn't just be comparing reviews/YouTube videos. Go to a store and play with the sets and video settings. A good 60Hz LCD can look as good as a cheap 120 Hz TV. Also 120/240 Hz processing can make the image look more like a soap opera which some people like while most people don't-especially for movies. More important in LCD technology is localized LED back lighting. This can help LCD's produce contrast that come close to plasma, but may introduce some issues of its own as the LCD's are dimmed/brightened. Plasma produces the best picture for the money and the best TV's produced today that magazine reviewers use as their reference sets are plasma. Same goes for 3D sets as the best rated 3D sets are the Panasonic plasmas.rastan

I think it makes the picture nasty. It's fake...as weird as that sounds. It's not moving naturally or how it should. The only true 120hz TVs are 3D tvs.

And as i mentioned before Plasma is where you will find the deepest and richest picture.The plasma listed a few posts up is nice.

I would say def. go for the second. It has better colors and of course the 120hz refresh rate. I certainly can tell the difference between 60hz and 120hz. If both were sat down side by side and were both running the same action sceen,the 120hz model would shine through with not as much motion blur. Of course its not coing to be as good as a plasma set,but you are not looking for the best of the best.For an entry level HDTV I say go with the second choice. The 120hz works well with video games and fast paced movies.You will be glad that you shelled out the extra $100.In the future when you are looking of upgradeing,check into PLasma TVs' for deepest and richest picture quality.
