Well, here's the match up chart. Look at Captain Falcon, Ganondorf and Yoshi. They do look crappy. I still don't support tiers, though. I've seen some excellent Ganondorf players online.

wii does not update itself automatically. however, nintendo has a habit of releasing games which you have to update ur wii to play (e.g. galaxy and mario strikers), so sooner or later, ur gonna have to update. also, do acknowledge ip blocking. if ur playing from somewhere that smash hasn't been released yet, chances are nintendo has blocked your ip from conecting to their servers, so u won't b able to play online either....

im from the uk, and was considering that, but i have two major problems:

* wii-updates: nintendo has blocked freeloader before by updating thier system, and will most likely do it again. you can choose not to update, howeverm sooner or later, nintendo will bundle a game which requires you to update to run it (like galaxy did).

* ip-region blocking: the reason i fel nintendo is taking so long to port smash over to europe (and aus) is to get their online infrastructur ready. as of yet, i believe nintendo will ban all PAL ips (the way they had banned american ips to stop them from importing japenese versions).

hence, iv opted not to buy smash with freeloader, since sooner or later, the game will become obsolete. i can't play online anyway. considering i may have to buy the uk version anyway when it releases here (coz nintendo will block my freeloader), i didnt think it was worth it... not even for smash (one of the only reasons im still with nintendo to begin with)

but the z camera has POTENTIAL. as it stands, it can't do very much, but lets face it, the boxing game seemed like it would control much better than what the wii provides.

What must be kept in mind is that the technology has been presented, and is up for grabs by whoever. personally, i feel this is going to end up on the PS3 (since they're game is to "copy&improve"), but they won't use it effectively, and it will dissappear in a few months after releasde due to lack of support and emphasis.

Don't hold ur breath on expecting it for the wii, its not gonna happen. nintendo sells their products primarily using their "wow" factor. this won't be a major component of the wii2.
