The Wii has the ability to make great looking games. Just look at Metroid Prime 3 and Super Mario Galaxy. Also take a look at the Melee and Brawl graphics comparison. The Wii is getting a bad rep on graphics because of lazy developers not wanting to take the time and make a game right. Instead they port a PS2 game to it and throw in some motion control. (i think u get the picture by now).. its an insult, evn by wii's standards.

ooookaaaay :?, i had the PS2 dude, and games that i played on the PS2 and available on the Wii have almost the same graphics, but the Wii is a bit better, i didnt say that the Wiis graphics suck. who freakin cares anyways, i didnt buy the wii for graphical capabilities, i bought it for its playing method. if i wanted graphics i wouldve bought a PS3

but i wud agree with wat u said as far as wii games are concerned, developers are using the wii's lack of raw power as an excuse to spill out cheap, low quality games with dry gimmicky controls that don't work. they need to respect the console more (as opposed to thier wallets), and actually work on their games. i appreciate its hard to get ur head round the immense calculus algorithms they need to perfect to control the wiimote's power, but in an industry expanding so quickly, they shldve been on top of that by now.

Nintendo needs to show them how its done first, to raise the bar and lead from the front. 3rd parties will naturally follow. give it a year, things shud get much better... (...in my opinion, ofcourse!...)

I have a software Produced by Red Kawa, its called Wii Video 9. its possible later editions are available. the software was designed to convert videos to be able to run on the wii, and its free.

I'd hav to agree with Blk-Gnome tho.. the videos look worse than the worst on youtube.

theres is no way MP3 is using only 15% of the wii's capabilities. if sum1s gonna show us wat the wii can churn out, its retro studios. it must be using >80% of the wii's power.

lets go back to MP1 for the cube. it was a first gen game, but still one of the best looking after the likes of LoZ:TP and RE4. MP3 will b very much the same. don't expect games throughout the whole of wii's life cycle to exceed MP3. a handful maybe, but we're talking only AAAs - and we already know how regularly those are coming out this gen.....

explore the world properly and don't rush to the end. tht wud b my only advice. i didnt realise how massive the game was until i played thru it the second time and tried gathering every little part there is to gather.

the dates are crazy. it says metroid will b launched in august, along with a bunch of other games. dnt c tht happening.
