I reset the password and it still tells me that the password is wrong. Hmm..

Ladigj

I can only think you are doing something wrong then.

Read carefully what you are inputting.

I believe you need to enter the OLD password once, then enter the NEW password twice. (from memory that is how i remember it anyway).

Make sure you have got upper case and lower case correct too.

Alot of TV's that size only come with 3w speakers, yours seems to have 5w.

Both are not going to be great audio. I recently bought a 23 inch monitor with built in 3w speakers. I knew the sound quality wouldn't be superb but it is my desktop monitor so i am sitting right in front of it and it suits me fine. Getting TV-like sound when you surf the net is exaclty what i wanted. (youtube clips etc)

If you are in a large room though, about 10-20 feet away from the TV you will most definately want to get a set of decent speakers imo.

No built in TV speakers are ever going to be as good as a decent set of speakers and sub-woofer. It's just the way it is :(

If you are using an XBox 360, going to a monitor with a higher resolution can actually make the picture look worse.

XBox games are made at natively lower resolutions and then upscaled to 1080p and the 360 sends a 1080p signal to the TV. Game developers make sure text, and graphics look as sharp as possible and will be clear to read.

If you send a 1080p already upscaled image to a monitor with a higher resolution, and the monitor decides to upscale the picture even further, you could end up with blurry looking text (even though it is being displayed at a higher resolution).

The only advantage i can see with using a monitor is if you purchase one with a high mhz rate. Most monitors still use 60mhz or 75 mhz at 1080p but a good one will go over 100mhz.

In all honesty, probably best to stick with the TV, unless you have cash to burn on a true 120mhz @ 1080p monitor.

Yea it's possible.

I was with BT Internet for over a year and had my XBox live account linked to the ....@btinternet.com email address. I only switched it over less than 3 weeks ago to a ....live.co.uk email address because i wanted to use some messenger functions with my live account.

A password reset should work, then when you know for sure what the password is, just enter your details correctly and make the switch. It doesn't cost anything to do.

Well it looks like you know how to do it, but infortunately your password input has gone wrong somewhere.

Is it capslock sensitive?

Can you reset the password?

If not, then you'll have to call MS customer support to get them to reset your password.

Same for me, i like Bops multiplayer much more than MW2. I must admit i mostly play with friends though and this does make it alot more fun.

MW2 campaign was better than Bops though imho.

If you try a vga cable, make sure it is a shielded one btw to ensure you dont get any ghosting.

[QUOTE="MacDee23"][QUOTE="chaz53132"] I think you misunderstood me. I plugged the monitor via HDMI into my laptop and project the laptop screen onto the monitor. It looked great. It's an Asus 23' 1080p monitor. VH236H.chaz53132

Sorry i did misunderstand. When you plugged it into your laptop, did you double check that your laptop display resolution was 1920x1080? (which is the same as 1080p). If not, just try that and see if it is clear or blurry. If you have already done that, then try changing your xbox to 1080i and see if that changes anything. (Don't forget to try and use the auto setting feature on the monitor after you plug it into the xbox so it sets itself correctly). If all that fails, use another lead (like a vga cable) and set the xbox to 1920x1080 resolution instead of 1080p in tv mode and see if that helps.

I just adjusted the laptop's resolution to project in 1080p on the monitor and looks even better. Although the text is smaller, it's still a lot more clear than the 360's text. I don't think my monitor has an auto adjust feature when using HDMI. I looked in the manual and it says, "While using VGA, press and hold specific button to auto adjust screen resolution". Maybe the 360 just doesn't work well with the specific monitor.....which kind of pisses me off because all the reviews on newegg said it was great for gaming and entertainment.

No theres something funny going on, there is no reason it shouldn't work. Try this - 1) Go to console settings and then display a) Go to display discovery and disable it (this will make sure manual settings do what they are supposed to do) b) Now go to HDMI Color Space and set it to auto c) Go to HDTV and select 1080p If it is still blurry go to - d) Reference levels and try each one to see if it makes a difference If it is still blurry go to - b) HDMI color space and try each of those If it is still blurry go to - c) HDTV and select 1920x1080 resolution instead of 1080p and repeat the above steps Each time you change a setting, hit the auto adjust setting on your monitor. This must work ! Once you find a setting that seems compatible, make note of it for future reference. If all of the above fails, then i strongly suggest buying a vga cable and connect your xbox to your monitor that way, (vga cables are just as good quality as HDMI, dont let anyone tell you different). Let me know how it goes, your problem is kinda bugging me as i cant see why it isnt working. :)

[QUOTE="MacDee23"]

Well you kinda answered your own question.

If it is blurry on your monitor but fine on your laptop, then it must be your monitor.

It sounds to me like your monitor isn't in 1080p mode or for some reason your monitor is upscaling the picture when it shouldn't be. If you are sure your monitor is in 1080p mode and the xbox is 1080p mode and it is still blurry then no choice but to take the monitor back for a refund, because it clearly isn't doing the job it is supposed to be doing.
