[QUOTE="Kojo222"]The only way I'll buy is if the drums finally come with the cymbals.dan_plus_o
Agree!! And it better have 5 pads in total. None of this kiddy 4 pad bull!
I really hate the sub-par quality of the Hero franchise... sure they may have started it, but since Rock Band came out... the Hero franchise has failed to do this type of game even remotely as well.Mack2D2
That's your opinion. I have always felt guitar hero as much more superior then rock band. What difficulty do you play the guitar and drums?

I definitely agree with what you were saying about the 4 pad drums still managing to be hard... and yeah, it is just my opinion, but I find my opinion to be accurate 100% of the time (that was a joke, opinions can't really be "accurate"). I play hard guitar (expert on scattered songs) on GH, but I haven't really given it much playtime since GH3 because of my distaste for their lack-luster execution of their full-band games. On RB2 I'm pretty much same way, I can dabble in expert on guitar... but I do expert all the time on bass simply because it's rare that a song will jump up and bite you on RB2 bass... and I usually play hard on drums with a very small selection of songs that I can play on expert.

To the genius that knocked me for remotely suggesting the possibility of D3 being sold in chapters: I didn't say that I thought it would happen, I said that I hope it doesn't happen... as for you inferring that it isn't even a possibility, you got another thing coming. SC2 was/is sold in chapters to allow stronger focus on one race at a time as far as I'm concerned... is it absolutely out of the question to think that Blizz may cut D3's classes/races into separate chapters telling the stories of multiple heroes?

Thank You, to everyone else that has actually tried to provide some clarification, or to those that have at least clarified that Blizz won't give us clarification, lol...

There are too many bogus news-breaks out there about Diablo III ... is there any legitimate news regarding a release date? I sincerely hope they don't get cocky with their WoW subscriptions and think they can charge people for using Battle.net ... and I'll be even more peeved if they think they can release D3 in chapters like they're doing with Starcraft 2. Any real news (other than a link to blizzard.net) would be appreciated.

I wish I could go... that would be awesome... but it's kind of a big trip, seeing as I'm in western Oregon.

everyone ripping on 2K sounds foolish... the game was near perfection. Responsive controls (something Madden has failed at ever since going 3D), realistic penalty calling, a great collection of unlockables for your "crib", and more that I can't even think of right now. Madden, to this day, doesn't offer a lot of the things that 2K5 offered. If you think EA owns the NFL rights for "a good reason, and money has nothing to do with it" you are just downright naive... money had EVERYTHING to do with it. Why do you think EA was making such a big stink a couple years back about trying to buy-out 2K?? They know that 2K is a better company than they (EA) are, and they tried capitalizing in a down economy when they were trying to buy them out in hopes of eliminating a dominant competitor. Notice that the best sports games lately are soccer games? they are showing the most improvement from one year to the next, with actual new features and effort being put into the production... you wanna know why? because there is competition in the soccer game market since no single company holds the rights.

game guides are for wussy little failure punks who give up when the going gets tough... with that being said, I have used them on rare occasions when I'm truly stuck... and by "stuck" I mean I've been trying to move forward with the game for more than 2 days, I've slept on the issue 2 different times and no solution seems to be presenting itself... and then, when I look at the stupid guide I tend to discover that I was just not seeing a little blue switch in the ceiling or some lame tiny, simple detail like that.

I really hate the sub-par quality of the Hero franchise... sure they may have started it, but since Rock Band came out... the Hero franchise has failed to do this type of game even remotely as well. This is awesome news, and I'm much more excited to see the innovation than I am about any paticular type of music in the song list.... especially considering that the devs basically said, in an interview about half a year ago I think, that they will take their time on the next sequel because they want to truly progress the genre. That boils down to innovation and new concepts, which from these guys, should be awesome. While hero just keeps pumping out the same garbage with the next consecutive number behind it, Rock Band is trying to bring us a truly improved experience.

I think, right now people just haven't got around to buying BC2... I have a few friends who don't have as many bills to pay (i.e. they live with mommy and daddy or don't have a wife and kids) who bought it and keep pressuring me to get it... they also have MW2, so I'm assuming BC2 is a more enjoyable experience.

as far as story goes, I think they all suck compared to the first Halo... but multiplayer wise, 2 beats the crap out of 3... I gotta agree that the bubble shields and all the tacked on little things got annoying pretty quick.
