720p. I've compared 1080i and 720p on the demo. 1080i is a little sharper, and 720p runs smoother and overall image quality is actually better.Redfingers
That's right. 1080i will not reach 60fps unless it can display at 120Hz.However, there's probably no 120Hz for 1080i TV.
Whoever said $1000 is delusional or has no idea what a highend PC is.
A Highend PC can run you 4-6k easy, we're talking 4 gigs of high latency ram, latest muli-core CPU, latest dual GPU DX10 cards, solid state boot drive, 10k gaming drives, and 7k raided storage drives, HD audio cards, 24-27" Full 1080p display, if you want to really get serious you'll need two 1080p displays and a throw in a BluRay and HD DVD ROM drive just so you can say you have it all.
Thats what a highend pc means, anything under 4k is not really a high end pc at all.

stupid console rant Assume a HDTV and monitor same size and same resolusion. I bet the monitor will be more expensive. Anyway, the monitor is inferior. Therefore it can't compare with a HDTV.
