@spikepigeo see i dont see pc as being the ultimate gaming platform. I just recently built myself a really sweet pc but it cost me like $1600. That could have bought a ps4, xb1,some games for both and some good headsets. Really the pc is great. I enjoy skyrim, bioshock infinite, tombraider reboot, and all the steam sales but a pc is high maintenance, Consoles u turn on update every now and again, keep the vents clean, and they are a fraction of the cost.
As a gamer I own a really nice top end pc, a ps3, 360 and wii. Each system has their ups and downs but the way microsoft has been i really dont feel the urge to try and support their brand. I do enjoy gaming more on my ps3 than my pc, or 360. The wii is my kid's system and i havent seen any reason to really pick up a wii u yet. However for the next gen i will def. be gettin a ps4 because even though sony does have issues they seem to take into consideration the consumer who keeps putting money in their pockets and not try to play God like MS.
@kgallis21 the adverts on sony arent that bad. They advertise hot new games, games on sale and ps+ perks, with a cpl of movies here and there but i only check out the adverts every tuesday when they update the ps network
