Okay, so I bought Crysis 2 a day after it came out, but I have only played it a little bit here and there every day because that's just the way I play games. I rarely go through a game in a day or two, even with games like Call of Duty. Anyway, I finally beat Crysis 2 yesterday and have played a little bit of the Multiplayer. Let me start with this: Buy this game if you want a great 12-15 hour single player experience. Don't buy it for the multiplayer. What I am saying though, is that the multiplayer isn't bad at all. It just has shortcomings when compared to the giants(Call of Duty, Halo, Battlefield) but it is still a worthy component in its own right. I still however found myself enjoying the single player campaign more. The first 1/3rd of the game consists of a pretty slow pace of human enemy encounters. The final 2/3rd's of the game however is much more varied and action packed. The nice thing about the game is that each level introduces you to a big open area allowing you to go about finishing that level however you want. There isn't many other shooters like this. There are some parts of the game where it's virtually impossible to go about in stealth mode, but those are few and far between. The graphics and sound are uniformly excellent and in my eyes, is the best Xbox 360 first-person shooter graphically. I don't bother to compare third-person shooters to first-person shooters because it's really like apples vs. oranges. Anyway, the campaign is excellent and the story, while not as equally satisfying as the presentation, still offers plenty of thrills throughout and take you through a ride you won't forget.
It's taking me 6 years, but I'm finally here. Countless moderations have kept me in the mid 20's that have spanned over half a decade. Good behavior(and inactivity) has helped me achieve this milestone. I'm actually closing on 31! :) Anyway yea pointless blog but I guess it's just nice to see that I'm still using this site frequently even after being here for this long.
I've always had a soft spot for Tekken 6, which I play the most. I also have Street Fighter 4 except I don't ever play it. I'm contemplating whether I should pick up Mortal Kombat or Marvel vs Capcom 3. I probably won't get either any time soon but I do plan on getting one. I also heard Blazblu is pretty awesome. So what is your favorite fighting game fellow Gamespotters?
Would anyone like to add me and maybe help get me started with my new PS3!?

well let's face it, it's true that Microsoft is extremely money hungry and they are VERY tactful when it comes to making money. The whole Microsoft points system has been a great success for them because it forces users to shell out more money than they need to for certain items. There is no logical excuse M$ can provide for this decision to go with M$ points. Now, in reality, they don't 'force' you to buy anything..that's your choice..although for me..being a hardcore gamer, I always want to buy certain downloads or rock band dlc however I'm always forced to buy more than what I need for a certain thing.
So not only do they make us pay to play online with the Gold service, but the M$ system is very fishy. Let's look at it on another angle...the Xbox Live service is GREAT, very seamless and integrated, and pretty much the primary reason any of us still play Xbox 360 over other consoles. We are getting a great service because we give them a ton of money to keep it up and adding to it.
So what would you rather have? A cheap, watered down online service for free like on the PS3 or (I laugh) the Wii ? Or to shell out extra dough for a great console and online service?
I'd choose the latter..and this is because online gaming is the future..and I want the best available one as we move forward.
