Game made enjoyable by a great battle system, entertaining characters and decent story though it hides the many flaws.
This is a game that wants to be liked, it wants the player to succeed and it makes this clear very early on. During the tutorial level, it could not do much more to hold your hand and can be rather nannying, leaning heav... Read Full Review

A buggy game, short and not for those that love action or demand accurate myths. Despite that, this is a good rent game.
The game starts off by nicely setting up the story, giving you a taste of the fighting, how the dialog system works and in my case, forcing me to restart due to the camera getting stuck. Thankfully this was so early on, ... Read Full Review

A good RTS game for the console. Campaign mode very short and one or two problems but worth a rent if you like RTS games
The PS3 hasn't had many RTS games so far, something that will change in 2009 with the likes of Stormrise or Command and Conquer. Tom Clancy's End War, released in 2008 had a chance to establish early popularity and a sta... Read Full Review

A game that is more then the sum of it's parts, being an evil overlord is simply so much fun in this game.
This is game that won't win awards but is solid in all departments. The graphics are deliberately more towards cartoons then realism but are well made though not superb, the camera angle is usually excellent but can easi... Read Full Review

Worth a rental if you have not played it yet, has great moments but for every good, something horrible counters the joy.
This is game that can leave me gasping in delight, admiring the views from the towers, slowly climbing the larger ones and looking around on a wonderfully beautiful and detailed world. The graphics are still some of the ... Read Full Review

A hack and slash with rpg levelling up in it, repetitive and deeply flawed, even the good idea's seem to fail.
If a game can not get some of the basics right, everything else about it gets dragged down. Dark Kingdoms suffers from this, sometimes the camera angle is awful and despite the ability to move it, which I had to use ofte... Read Full Review

The beginning of the series, a solid game with erratic difficulty. For the nostalgic or those that like difficult games
3DO have created a popular series and to do that, the basics have to be right from the start. Graphics may not be amazing but they are good enough, cartoony and somewhat adorable. No voices and sound effects are fairly s... Read Full Review

Has it's flaws but still a very good game with many strengths that still make it worth playing. Start of something great
This was the start, for the playstation consoles at least, of one of the great series: Metal Gear Solid. Yes there are signs of age but that is due to the ambitions of the game makers, the game mostly stands up well. The... Read Full Review

A testing and solid action DLC in the Resident Evil 5 world.
Desperate Escape is not a game of puzzles or much horror, it is a game of trying to plough your way through the unremitting wave of enemies. Such a game relies on it's combat system holding up and in this case, the syste... Read Full Review

Brings back the horror factor in an enjoyable but short DLC.
Resident Evil 5 could, arguably, be said to lean more towards action then horror. This DLC leans more towards horror and puzzles, requiring little in terms of fighting. From the start, the atmosphere is haunting and ... Read Full Review

Improves on many aspects of the first Overlord but lacks a bit of it's predecessor's charm.
The first Overlord was a game that was built on humour, good characters, a sense of doing something a little different, decent game-play and simply, by being fun. Triumph studio's have worked on the flaws of the last gam... Read Full Review

Close the curtains, turn off the lights and prepare to be scared! Mediocre FPS but an excellent horror game. Atmospheric
This is not a game for those seeking a challenging, entertaining FPS. The shooting system is solid and reliable, there is nothing horrible about it but it isn't brilliant, the game could not carry itself by the plasmids ... Read Full Review

Rarely shines in a given area, can be very buggy, but combines everything into a big ball of gangster fun!
This is not a game that enters a packed gangster genre by claiming to be a game with masterpiece graphics, a heart-wrenching story or by trying to be radical. This is a game that simply concentrates on being fun for the ... Read Full Review

A lovingly created story that pulls the player in, great graphics and though not perfect, one of best games the PS3 has.
This is a game that shows it's best side from the start, the little pre game intro which shows the picturesque graphics and wonderful music, hints at the story to come flashing on screen then a little loading sign beside... Read Full Review
