If this does get passed, it would just be the beginning. This would cause a downward spiral in other things that would inevitably give the government control over many other platformers outside of the internet... which sounds a lot like a movie I saw... V for... something.

Next to go (assuming it's a real situation in the future)... I'd have to guess Sony gun to my head. I would say Nintendo, but despite what crazy/"innovative" things they come out with somehow they always hold their position strong. Maybe not always in the US, but definitely always in Japan. Not to mention other parts of the world. As for Microsoft with their Xbox platform... well, it's pretty much speaking for itself I'd say. There hasn't been a more fleshed out, fully featured online system than Xbox Live. And online, playing with friends and what not, is the future of gaming I suppose...

@thunderboltx7 I think the 360 got it's name originally from Microsoft wanting it to give the gamer connectivity to the entire world, or something like that, in a 360 degree direction... er... something... Anyhow my point is it's name would not carry over into a greater "degree" of measurement. Xbox 360 2 would be a closer guess than Xbox 720.

I'd like to see a company release a system that didn't take 1 step forward and 2 steps back (MS, Sony, & Nin). I'd like to see a company release a system that didn't transform from one thing to another (MS, Sony, & Nin), sacrificing this feature for that; or just a blatant loss of previous features altogether. I'd like to see a company release one system that wasn't available "in all sizes", but instead had a "one size fits all" build (MS & Sony). I'd like to see a system come out that wasn't loaded with system killing issues such as the RROD or the YLOD; who's firmware updates didn't also have a chance of killing the respective system (MS & Sony). This may seem like a lot, but if any of these companies had any dignity at all, if they had any respect at all (truly) for their product and their customers there wouldn't be so many issues with deciding what features belong and what doesn't. Not to mention how quality would improve. My point being is that the "Big Three" are all getting sloppy. The "improvements" that have been made over the years, mostly, are nonsensical. Or, are a facade for cheap parts. I'm tired of the multiple different releases of each system. How many 360s have there been this generation? 5 or 6? How many PS3s? About 6 or 7? And now Nintendo re-released the Wii, but this time it lost it's GameCube backwards compatibility. So much for not confusing your customers about what system to buy... Just build it, build it smart, and build it well. Who's in a rush?

I have a question for Mikey. Why does Bioware's programming team suck so hard? Go ahead a save yourselves a little trouble and get rid of those guys and get a nice little team that uses UE3. For real. Epic fail console ports. And not impressed with this games performance on a pc. Can I get an amen?
