Americas most sold plasma the PX500 has now been replaced bye the PX60 series (Px600 coming april/May)
and it has 2 HDMI inputs, VGA connection, 29 BILLION colors....

People say DON'T buy plasma this that if you are going to GAME on it, that's just WAY overrated. If u are so afraid, just run in the screen for the first 200 hours on low contrast/brightness and your good.

Not overrated. All the experts will tell you that plasma has that burn-in problem due to the design of it. And running it in low contrast and brightness just kills the quality and gives you a dark image. As of right now, the SXRD (LCoS technology) TVs from Sony are rated the best picture quality for a TV, and they are a projection technology. Things will change soon with the release of DLP sets from Toshiba with LEDs and no color wheel (better color than the HDTV spec) and SED, which is a step above plasma and it is claimed to have even better quality than CRT (which is still better than plasma)
Right now, best thing anyone can do is wait until PS3 releases and then decide on what you want to get based on availability, price and technology.
EDIT: BTW, the LEDs in the Toshiba are capable of 86 billion colors :D

I can't afford the Sony SXRD, but is the 50' Grand Wega 3LCD rear projection HDTV KDF-E50A10 a good buy ?
Im gonna use it for Xbox 360 and watch movies... I currently have a 32' Panasonic CRT.
I have never owened a rear procjection LCD before, but is it any good ? Its very popular in the states and UK (avsforum.com) and has good reviews..
What do you think ?
