Makalano's forum posts
[QUOTE="Makalano"]http://onemansblog.com/2011/08/06/christians-openly-advocate-killing-athiests-on-fox-news-facebook-page/ Talk about a confirmation bias. You know how many posts were on that FaceBook page? Thousands. You know how many actually advocated atheists? The few they listed. Of course, they acted like there were more, but there weren't, otherwise someone would make a big deal out of it. If you read the comments on the page, many Christians are appalled by such words. They don't represent the whole of Christianity, as the article would like to suggest, but rather a crazy minority. However, everyone is fanatical on the Internet, and I sincerely doubt any of them would do any harm to an atheist based on the grounds of their atheism. But it's stuff like this that the mindless masses see and think, "Wow, religion really is a cancer." The article doesn't go over all the Christians that actually agree that having the cross there is unfair or the Christians who argued it was morally wrong to say such things. No, the article writer obviously wants attention and/or has a hidden agenda. He's unfairly representing a small minority as a majority. People like him are what's killing Christianity.Frame_DraggerYou seem as though you can cope with this... not necessarily with mental stability, but cope in general terms. Cope with what? You think they're actually serious? Most are either lying or atheististic trolls trying to make it seem like Christianity is a violent religion.
No, you're pretending to be scared to further your agenda.I'm scared. :(

[QUOTE="mattisgod01"]An Atheist believes by default that religion teaches lies, Superstition and Mythology as truth. foxhound_foxLol, no. The "default" atheist position is that "God, gods and the supernatural are not believed to exist." Only anti-theists and those who see religion as an inherently negative force think what you claim ed. Really? I've yet to see an atheist that thinks otherwise.

When there is no standard to adhere to, who can say that my argument (that was in quotes) was wrong? How can anyone dispute that when there is no evidence to back any point of view?
And why should the standard be based on a religion or religions that not everyone they affect follow? The standard is morality and decency.
Which is subjective. And you deflected the point. Then it's your fault for not making your "point" clear. I'm sorry I don't view America as the entire world like you apparently do (and like the rest of atheists who seem to ignore the destructive nature of the Islamic world)[QUOTE="Makalano"][QUOTE="DroidPhysX"] No, there are ridiculous laws all over the world. You pointed out one of them in one country.xLFTMx
Feel free to elaborate. I'm sure you knowledge of Islam is completely unbiased and comes from great sources other than fox news and your preacher.
Actually, it comes from Richard Dawkins and an Atheist Media Blog on YouTube. Why do people always bring up Fox News? Yeah, we get it... they're stupid and biased. Not every conservative and/or religious person likes them.[QUOTE="Makalano"][QUOTE="DroidPhysX"] And you deflected the point.DroidPhysXThen it's your fault for not making your "point" clear. I'm sorry I don't view America as the entire world like you apparently do (and like the rest of atheists who seem to ignore the destructive nature of the Islamic world), but I'm rational. >Assuming I think America is entire world >Thinks I'm an atheist 0 for 2 so far. There is no point in arguing with a pseudo-intellectual who intentionally makes his or her posts vague so he or she can twist it around to his or her liking when it suits him or her.
