Unless you can afford Xbox360 or Wii UNLESS there is absolutely no point at this.You said you play games since 7 , that's 20 years. What matters to you most after all these years? ( about gaming always) Care who wins the console war? Let them crash them selves to each other so better games will be released. A console war leads to our profit! Gamer's profit. Competition raises the standard. And I haven't seen a game on console that uses all the potential of it ( Xbox360 and PS3 ) or all the new ideas and details a next - gen game should have. OFCOURSE with the exception of few ( mass effect, bioshock , upcoming GTAIV , Metal Gear Solid 4 , FFXIII the upcoming ones hopefully. )

I have a Xbox360 in terms of next gen console. Wii is good is fun i admit but not my type of gaming. I like in depth more hardcore games. Games like MGS4 , GT5 , Killzone 2 , FFXIII , White Knight Story e.t.c will make me decide if i wanna spend 450 euros more to buy a PS3.

So to close it up, games matter. My time matters. Ours as gamers. I spend 2-3 hours a day playing games maybe less maybe nothing sometimes but i ant those hours to be exploited the MOST. I want games that fly me away , excite me e.t.c

You are totally right !!! i guess everyone can agree with your comment.. I always said Competition between manufacturers is always good... We consumers will only benefit from that...

Still like in politics, fanboys are important to manufacturers because its on them that they rely mostly when getting a new console on the market... They might be narrow minded but they are well received by manufacturers, which see them as $$$ figures, which will buy anything having their brand on it.. (am referring to extreme fanboys, not all fans.)

TO Dazzer 7, well UK is the biggest market in all europe but check latest PS3 sales figures in UK... going up !! also X360 has a huge install base of consumers therefore didn't say it will take sony 3 months to catch up... its still a long way to determine a true winner..

One thing you will all agree with me is that COMPETITION is always good for us gamers cause it will push manufacturers / publishers to give better products... So have 3 consoles doing good is a benefit to all of us

I think deep down everyone is a fanboy... well on different levels but everyone is... am sure that there is no one in this world who just spent money on a console liking the idea of having it bashed by haters...

Well am not living on memories (Ps2 days), i agree with you this time the race will be so much closer... i didn't say the PS3 will win by selling a 160 million consoles... i just think the trend will change along this year in terms of units sales..

If you do a bit of searching around you will see there has been 2 threads on sales and how/when the PS3 will catch up! Basically, most predictions are around the late 2009 (thats if Sony really pull their finger out), 2010 (next gen consoles will start to be announced), 2011 (next gen consoles start to be released).

Well didn't do a lot of research i admitm but lets take into account global sales... x360 for example doing great in US but average in Europe, and won't mention Japan because everyone knows it doesnt sell over there... Do you think that a success of a console is based on 1 territroy or globally? you should make some research too on GLOBAL sales and keeping in mind the 1 year headstart x360 had over PS3

fanboys are true gamers only narrow minded ones... that's all !!!!

Guess sticking to one console only or one brand only is just limiting you in terms of different gaming experiences...

But then again I prefare the Playstation brand over the others... maybe deep down am a fanboy without knowing hehe..
