Personally I use it mainly for Gaming, but got a few Mp3's in it so I tend to use is as an Mp3 player...

However for me its mainly a Gaming console :)

its a matter of personal tastes...

Owning a PS3 for me makes it the best console... doesn't mean it IS the best console...

i got both, but if you just need a good game to play till Rainbow 2, i suggest getting The orange box... its got Half life 2, which is the best story driven FPS ever... then you got Portal which is really good, and you got Team fortress 2 for online gaming... Its such a good value for money package...

Still though I also loved Resistance and online is fun too :)

Below is the games I got with a personal remark on all, which may help others... (remember its my personal opinion)

Motorstorm - Good

Resistance - Great

Uncharted - Excellent

R&C - Excellent

Heavenly sword - Good

The Darkness - Good

COD4 - Nearly perfect

Unreal III - Great

NFS Pro street - waiste of money

Sega Rally - Good

Folklore - Good

Enchanted Arms - WTF (avoid)

COD 3 - Good

Timeshift - (again AVOID at all costs)

Orange box - Excellent

Conflict (Den Ops) - not bad

Assasins Creed - Good (a bit repetitive)

Fifa 08 - Good

PES 08 - not bad (but disappointed me loads)

Smackdown 08 - Good (its a fun game specially having 5 other friends with you)

Warhawk - Great

DMC 4 - Great

Next games i'll get are Rainbox six Vegas 2 & GTA IV... plus others which are coming later this year which won't mention for now.
