Well... The 2008 National Lacrosse League season is over and the Buffalo Bandits beat the Portland Lumberjax 14-13, this game came down to the last 5 minutes of the game and this was one of the greatest games that were ever played. Dan Dawson led the Portland Lumberjax team with 9 points 3 goals and 6 assists, that wasn't the best thing for the Jax because Dan Dawson needs to put the ball in the net not to help people I think if he had more goal and less assists Portland would have won, and Mark Steenhuis led the Bandits with 6 points 5 goal and 1 assist, that is a typical game for Steenhuis. For people who don't know the style of play that Buffalo Bandits play that will try to knock out the other teams player and one player who scored a goal that should be punched in the mouth so he shouldn't be allowed to talk was Billy Dee Smith for the Bandits, he isn't that great of a player any way. So the indoor lacrosse league for the winter months is over and the outdoor league is starting so lacrosse is not done. The next blog Major League Lacrosse(MLL).

The National Lacrosse League's playoffs are almost finished, the championship game is coming up very soon and the two teams are the Buffalo Bandits and the Portland Lumberjax, Buffalo is a lacrosse hot bed and Portland is in there third year from moving up from California. The NLL need this game to be a good one because the game will be aired on ESPN 2 on May 17th at 7:30 pm ET. If you ask anyone who follows the NLL they will tell you that the best marketing team will be the Colorado Mammoth, the Mammoth draw a better crowed the Colorado Avalanche (NHL) the Denver Nuggets (NBA) and other out of state teams even Major League Baseball teams, even though that may not sound that impressive think of this. The indoor lacrosse season is 16 games long, hockey and basketball plays 41 home games and baseball plays 81 home games, and a team that plays 8 home games draws a better crowd then that. The Mammoth put 18,000+ people in seats every night. If you live by any indoor lacrosse team go support your team and the NLL, lacrosse is the fastest game on two feet and the fastest growing sport world wide.

Saturday October 6th and Sunday October 7th in Downtown Denver there are going to five different events; the race for the cure witch helps find a cure for breast cancer, the Denver Broncos are playing while the race is going on, the Colorado Avalanche play in the Pepsi Center, the big surprise of Colorado is how well the Rockies are play and are going to beat the Phillies on Saturday night the sweep the series and win their first post-season in there 15 year history, and Downtown Denver is having over the weekend Oktober Feast. One Denver news station is est. over 330,500 people over the weekend. Man what a great day for Colorado and Colorado sports
