I wanted to defend tom because I think health regen is a cheap mechanic and that fps's are stuck, but it was stupid to defend his points by saying the game shouldn't be fun.

Why release new hardware, people like to play the same kind of games over and over. Until that changes, there's no reason for a next-gen.

I'm assuming they'll make a next-gen once the pc exclusives start being ridiculously better than the console games.

@wolonpanda @Zombunny I wouldn't take that to literally until you see gameplay, and even in the ideal scenario of this being genuinely created by the engine, it's still a cinematic teaser, the game could be horrible.

I know this sounds like a very negative ans suspicious take on game trailers in general, but It would help everybody in general if we hold our hopes until they actually show the game.

Well, in the end this was supposed to be an mmo, and then it got recycled into a single player game. With this in mind it was hard for this game to be amazing.
