Cod 4 is far too imbalanced to be competitive, I would have to say Halo 3 would be the best simply because of the teamwork required in the game, maybe GRAW too..
They need to actually balance the multiplayer, several reason Cod4 never made it to MLG: 1: The M16 is incredibly overpowered compared to the other guns in the game. 2: Grenade launchers took little to no skill to use and often were randomly fired into the air with success(Along with grenades as well) 3: The ability to go prone allows people to wildly jump and instantly go flat on the ground, meaning in a skilled close quarters combat match people would be jumping around like idiots because its the most effective way of killing people. 4: Chances are they are going to keep vehicles in the game and again they are not balanced at all only adding to the misery of the multiplayer.
I have been considering getting this game off steam for the PC for about 12 hours, I just backed out of buying guitar hero world tour as I came to the conclusion Rock Band was better so I have some left over money for the holiday season. I love RPG's (Atleast western RPG's, not a big fan of japanese) and im a big fan of shooters (Far Cry 2 and Gears 2 are my other 2 games im buying).
My only concern is the developer, I did not like oblivion at all, the combat was abysmal, and while im sure the open world and RPG elements were fine the combat is the main aspect of the game and I couldnt get past that. The Reviewers love Fallout 3 and the franchise gets a lot of praise (Ive also never played fallout 1 or 2), but I cant make the decision as to wether or not to get the game or not. The E3 presentation did not really help, looked more like you were viewing the combat then actually being the one shooting the people. Anyways id like your opinions.
