[QUOTE="-NickD-"] The problem I have with online games is you have to invest a serious amount of time in them if you want to be good enough to compete with the top players. I went into Gears of war online very very late, and even though I really like it I'm rubbish at it and get destroyed in most games by people who have been playing it since 2006. Same goes for Team Fortress 2, I'm rubbish at it. But I'm great at COD4, been there since day one and win most of my games.
I just don't have the time to get good at lots of games like Halo, Gears, Resistance ect. So I'm just going to wait for Gears 2 and make that my main game for online play, when you're good at a game the enjoyment you get from it increases ten fold. And not to diss Resistance but I don't see it competing with Gears 2. Gears was GOTY 2006, sold close to 5 million, and the sequel look a hell of a lot better with Horde co-op and updated Unreal engine. It's going to rock. Resistance 2 has 64 players online, it's going to be a mess imo.

Resistance has 60 player squad based online...
And 8 player online co-op...
The Resistance 2 engine has a slew of updates....if you haven't noticed the improvement in this game, then, wow.
And this video is from the single-player. Did you even watch it?
resistence 1 had similar features....but that didnt stop Gears 1 from dominating it.
Gameplay > numbers
Horde sounds like tons of fun!
