Well I'll answer the TC in a more positive manner...
I'll agree on some of the points, and it may 'seem' that Sony is lacking and 'can do better'. But, all in all Sony has done tremendous in the amount of time they've had it out. Keep in mind, their shooting for a longer (10 year?) lifespan on this one. With the superb and reliable hardware it packs, I wouldn't doubt it. You gotta give em time and that's all there is to it. MGS4 is proof of this. We now have the first (and only?) AAAAE game of this gen.
Much like yourself, I'm an avid horror fan. It dissapointed me in the least that Dead Rising never made it's way onto PS3. I really enjoy this game. I find it to be the perfect balance of blood & guts and sense of humor.. ie a great horror movie. While there is currently nothing on the PS3 quite like it, I'm positive that Dead Rising 2 will be multiplat. I can imagine this game having an amusement park setting, or something sweet like that. It'll top the original I'll bet. By the time this comes out, hopefully we'll have Home and the online community will have skyrocketed. As well as some other big guns such as GT5, KZ2, Socom, Tekken6, etc.
Ppl has been saying that 2008 is the year of PS3. Well, it is. But nothing can stop it from being even better in 2009. I believe 2009 will be the year that things smooth out.. and sorta fall into place to further reinforce the fact that Sony is here to stay and means business (more priority on games while tightening home, online, features, etc)
