@Stesilaus That's a terrible idea. We want AOEII not AOM. Thank goodness we got exactly what we wanted. This is amazing the way it is. There is a reason we all still love the 2D
20$ is nothing. I'm buying a 4 pack right now, this game is ridiculous. I've put hundreds probably thousands of hours into it. The ease at which steam will make matchmaking is incredible. Steam workshop will also make it amazing to get stuff from sites like Heavengames easier. GO BUY NOW.
I could easily go for a female lead. It's not going to turn me off a game unless you've blatantly put here in there to A. push some kind of agenda, B. create sales through sex appeal. I think AC4 would have been great either way, being a female would just add to the mystery of the character in my opinion. I don't think that a game should ever put in a female character because it's "due", if you do it'll come off as forced. But if it does happen, I think it will be great and I'll buy the game just like I would the previous installations.
Looks like a fantastic game by the description alone, will it work well in theory? Probably, doesn't seem to different from ACI just on a much larger scale with way more amazing stuff going on. This game will be going on my calender.
Not going to happen. If anything happens it will go the way of steam, they'll take off the fee for Xboxlive and force you to associate your games with your account. This way you can still have freedom to drag it to a friends house, you just won't be able to resell it. I haven't been able to resell a PC game for years once I got steam. They off games at an affordable price so I don't mind though.
I'm all about details. I don't need to see a huge graphical jump, just as long as they keep ironing out inconsistencies with the great graphical engines they don't need to make my jaw drop off.
