I don't like school.

Don't get me wrong; I like school. I just don't like classes.

Especially Multivariable Calculus and Ceramics and Materials Engineering (CME).

I have a CME test tomorrow. I don't think I'm prepared. So I'm on here, wasting time.

My roommate got his 360 back! He got Star Wars: The Force Unleashed! It's pretty awesome. I'll probably start Tales of Vesperia soon. I'm just waiting for money to get a new PS3 game.

My girlfriend came to visit me this weekend. It was incredible. But she only stayed two nights, and now she's back in my hometown, 7 hours from my university. I really miss her already.

How is everyone?

underOATH's new album. My tennis game.

So I bought the new underOATH album, Lost in the Sound of Separation, off of itunes, and I'm currently halfway done with listening to it. It's already incredible. Mind-blowing. If you like hardcore mixed in with your rock and some amazing melodic moments, underOATH is your kind of band. Go listen to them if you never have before.

I recommend these songs:
- Cries of the Past

- Angel Below

- When the Sun Sleeps

- To Whom it May Concern

- A Boy Brushed Red...Living in Black and White

- Reinventing Your Exit

- It's Dangerous Business Walking Out Your Front Door

So, since I'm back in college, and I played three years of varsity tennis in high school, I decided to play club tennis. I've been to two practices, and it turns out that above average compared to the other people who have showed up, so that's a pretty good sign. I even beat the club president in doubles today!

I can't wait to see how much better I'll be after the year is over.

My new banner! I beat Ratchet and Clank!

Look at my new BA banner! It's all compliments of my good friend MonkeyStew.

It has the main characters from 3 of my top 5 favorite games of all time.

I also beat Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction as of earlier today. My next game to buy may be Mirror's Edge, or I may buy FFIX off of ebay, as I don't actually own a copy.

My roommate got Tales of Vesperia, and he likes it pretty well, so I may play that when he's not. I need an RPG, that's for sure.

Back in college.

Well, here I am, back in my dorm room in my sophomore year of college. Starting to take courses specific to my major of bioengineering. I'm looking forward to the coming year.

Not to mention the video games. My roommate has a 360, I have a PS3, so we're set. He has Infinite Undiscovery, Spore, and Fable 2 all preordered. I am in the process of playing Ratchet and Clank for the PS3, and I will probably get Mirror's Edge when it comes out (which looks incredible, by the way).

My FFX wall scroll is the centerpiece on the wall of my dorm.

How is everyone? Back in school, ready for school, don't have to worry about school?

I finally saw Akira!

And it was incredible! I've been meaning to see it for a long time, so I recorded it on my DVR and watched it.

Now I'm slightly obsessed. I want a poster! I also want the 2000-something page manga that the movie is based on.

Think I could find the manga at a comic book store or something? I don't know of any anime-themed stores near me.

I'm back!

I took an unexpected leave from gamespot for about two weeks in order to do many things.

Sorry I didn't let anyone know. And I'm very sorry to my union-mates that I did this. But I did leave a lasting discussion topic on the SOD board, so go check it out! It's about next month's character of the month.

Anyways, I believe I'm getting a PS3 tomorrow. I'll definitely have to get MGS4. What else do you guys think I should buy?

Wall-E

Wall-E was so awesome!

It also helped that I had a great girl to hold my hand as we watched the movie. This is turning out to be a good summer.

I'm stuck in a rut.

So I work quite a bit, and I can't seem to find the motivation to do much besides sleep. If I play any video games at all, it's usually Mario Golf. It would be so easy to turn on my PSP and continue playing Crisis Core, but I just don't feel like it.

It's definitely weird. However, in non-gaming news, I just had one of the best weekends of my life, which culminated in me beginning to date a really awesome girl. I also discovered X Japan, which I had heard of but never listened to. Their song, I.V., which was made as a music video for Saw IV, is one of the best songs I've heard in recent memory. I think I've listened to it 20 times in the past two days.

I'm going to see Wall-E tonight with that same awesome chick and a few other friends, so I'm pretty stoked. What's up with you guys?

I bought a violin.

I bought a really great beginners violin off of ebay. It got here about four days ago, and I'm super excited to learn how to play.

I already know a few things, and I'm a quick learner, so I should be playing Scars of Time in no time! Oh yeah Chrono Cross!

Anyways, I always figured that I would regret it if I never learned to play an instrument, so...

Wish me luck!

Hey everyone, come check out the Seeds of Destruction Union!

It is a fantastic new union created by MonkeyStew that I helped out with (a little).

I've actually been off of gamespot for a few days and have been neglecting my officer duties, but now I am promising to help out a bit more with this union.

Anyways, it showcases some great under-rated games, with Drakengard at the helm. The game I chose was Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits. You can see my description of it in the "About the Union" board.

So, if anyone is interested, contact me or go join the union! We also showcase FFIX, Chrono Cross, the .Hack series, and the Xenosaga series (all of which I've played hahahaha).
