A PS2 can indeed play the games, however you will need a PS1 memory card in order to save.

They are definetally worth playing, they all tell great stories, and are timeless ****cs.

Much like I can still go back and play Super Mario World, these games have the same effect.

Many people will beg you to play VII, but this is actually the most expensive out of all of them to find.

I haven't experienced any slowdown with it, and I've beat it on Mentor.

But I am using a standard television.

I like Weezer and Nirvana, that's why I didn't play Guitar Hero III.

Too much Heavy Metal, not into that stuff.

I'll stick with the Rockband franchise.

Bioshock, Blue Dragon and Mass Effect(didn't get the DLC for Mass Effect though). Gonna try for Lost Odyssey and Dead Rising next but I haven't had time to really start working on them yet.

I can't be bothered with multiplayer achievements so I can't really max out any games that have those.

With the exception of Bioshock, those are all hard games to get all achievements in.

I actually sold it as soon as I beat HL2, Episodes 1 and 2 and Portal.

I tried TF2 and, truthfully, couldn't stand it.
