Indeed! That's my point: some games don't even have a damn piece of story, they're just gratuitous bloodshed. And they keep coming out because a growing slice of the market wants them to be that way ('who gives about the plot, just gimme blood and guts!').

My nightmare is that someday all games will only be about blood and gore. That will surely be the day I'll stop playing games.
