So you're saying if I ever want to use the content when I get my new one, I need to be signed into Live?  It'll never be "on" the HDD, per se?

Allllllrighty... so my 360 just died.  Owell, good thing I got the EB Games trade-in warrentee.  Anyway, my question is this... I have a core with an HDD I bought separate, which means I get to take it off and keep it.... however, will I be able to use ALL my content?  I am a ways into Oblivion, with some extra content from Live, and I have heard you lose stuff or something to that effect if you switch XBOXes... anyone know for sure?  I really appreciate any help, as I don't really wanna start over with the awesome character I have built up so far:(  Thanks in advance, guys.

You could also just drop stuff if it isn't worth any money. Just find it in the inventory, and then you can press the "Drop" button to drop it where you stand. This is useful when you have useless crap taking up weight in your inventory.

Just go to the Market District in The Imperial City. The respective shops (weapons, jewelry, etc.) will buy the stuff you want to sell, as long as it isn't stolen. Shops, for the most part, won't buy stolen stuff. Anything with a red hand next to it in your item inventory is stolen.
