Short answer, yes in my opinion. Mario Galaxy 2 is a fantastic game but it is not worthy of its rating. Unfortunately it does not reach the heights of OOT or games of that caliber. However that does not mean it is a bad game, it's undoubtedly fun but it just doesn't quite hit the perfect ten mark. In a way this game suffers because of its over-hyping, people go out and buy it, expecting the best game ever, and are disappointed. I think that a more suitable score would be 9 instead of 10.
