Okay, so I've never used Xbox Live on my Xbox 360 before. I have an offline gamertag with over 10,000 gamerscore, and a lot of save files associated with it. The gamertag I've always wanted to have is 'Matthewest', so to make sure nobody else took the name before I got live, I made Matthewest on the xbox website. I then realised that I couldn't delete the said gamertag once I was ready to get live. I want to be able to have Matthewest as my gamertag whilst keeping all the gamerscore and achievements I collected offline. If it helps, my offline gamertag is still Matthewest. If anyone could help it'd be much appreciated :)

oh and the fact I got leveled down (yesterday, and to metal slime!!...) for the stupidest thing ever, I hate gamespot so much now. I think im just gonna stop coming.

DONT HAVE YOUR XBOX 360 VERTICAL!!!

I had my first xbox vertical for about a month and then somebody tripped over it and RROD showed up. My second one was vertical and then I heard a clack noise and when I opened it up my Oblivion disc got pwned to pieces. My local game shop told me to NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER have your 360 vertical. Now I keep it horizontal and I haven't had a problem for about two years. Also I heard that your discs are slowly scratched while in vertical.

As for the over-heating problem, mine sits on carpet in Queensland but its fine. Also my friend told me about a cooler fan that you can attach to the back which is quite cheap too.

I know this topic has probably been posted about a million times on this board but I am really itching to see what console is best since me and my friend are having a bet on which console is better. Please post and vote!!! 8)
