There's a new SHMUP,Jamestown, being released today for anyone interested. It's developed by FinalFormGames and it should be released later today on Steam, D2D and Gamersgate. It is priced at $9.95

I've been following this game for a while now since it entered the Indie Games Festival. Cannot wait to finally get my hands on the game! I'm hoping it has the content to support the $10 price tag. If anybody is interested I can leave some impressions later and let you know if it's worth the price of admission.

The controller probably won't be that expensive. They did opt for a resistive (or perhaps optical) touch screen, as apposed to a more expensive capacitive touch screen. And the video is streamed to it. There's no processing hardware inside.
