NY would be a tough location for a racing game. I'd like more cars and to have them ease up on the rubber band AI a little. I'm all for difficult games and the sense of accomplishment that comes with them, but when games just feel like they are cheating it really takes the fun out of it. More events and a little more life to the city would be nice. I just thought it was a little boring and repetitive after a while. With the limited car list, I never felt like I was working towards anything I really wanted so it got stale pretty quickly.
Microsoft doesn't sell the official one anymore? I know it used to be a pack-in with the HDMI cable but it seems like the market is flooded with the generic ones. I want a Turtle Beach but I don't want to take a hit in visual quality by being forced to use component cables. Is there any way around using a headset with HDMI without the Audio Adapter? Or is there a place that still sells the official one?
I've heard bad things about the generic ones rebootingyour Xboxwhen your TV input is changed. Seems like MS dropped the ball if they quit manufacturing a vital piece that you need.
The thing is I don't think they left many doors open for exploits. The perks are very mellow and new things like the crossbow/ballistic knife/flamethrower seems to have been very well thought out and balanced. Killstreaks don't add kills towards other killstreaks...they were very careful about everything. Feels like CoD4 again, which is a great thing.
The problem with the ratings is they focus more on the Single Player. I buy the CoD games strictly for multiplayer, so the refreshing new and re-balanced multiplayer + zombies is well worth the money for me. I could care less what number they stamp on it.
Looking at the multiplayer, it's the most balanced call of duty has been since the release of 4. Played about 3 hours yesterday and didn't see any overpowered perks or guns, maybe it doesnt deserve a 9, but it's definetely a huge improvement over mw2.MaChaorules
Couldn't have said it any better. If anything, Black Ops makes it even clearer how much MW2 took a huge step back when it comes to the Multiplayer aspect.
Nope never going back to MW2 because that game has been broken for months Black Ops is way more fun and balanced plus the maps are much better.xxmatt125xx
This... MW2 has been garbage for a long time now. The only reason I went back to CoD4 when WaW came out was because I liked Modern weapons, didn't have anything to do with the gameplay or not liking World at War. Black Ops is exactly how a multiplayer shooter should be. Everyone who doesn't like it can go back to their One Man Army.
