EA just published it. They were trying different developers for each game until somebody got it right. Personally I'm not too crazy about the Sim/Arcade mix. It's a sim racer with arcade controls...what I saw of the video I wasn't too fond of. The guys in the sand and his car pulls a 180 and he manages to pull right out of it and back on track without losing any position on the guy in front of him.

It's XBL after all, so that's still up in the air :) You call it nothing special, yet you're asking basic questions about it. It's a survival game that focuses heavily on co-op and teamwork, so yes, playing with others is the way to go.
Do people forget? Or am I overestimating everyones age here? Sega Genesis games $49.99 N64 games (2 generations ago!!!) $59.99!!!! Prices haven't changed over 2 generations why are we complaining so much? If you compare what we got with games in todays standards compared to the very shallow experiences we were dropping 60$ on it's a steal. I honestly think they could get away with $69.99 for Xbox/PS3 games but I'll keep quiet about that.

Definitely worth the single dollar the game costs.
I would pay 1$ just to get that song on Itunes/Zune marketplace. Considering that's the price of the full game entirely, it's a steal.

I'm not sure how you see that but ok it's your opinion. Braid had an awesome story, it wasn't your typical save the princess happy ending...which is what made the game pretty powerful to me. I don't see this game delivering on that aspect or even coming close but I'll wait to pass judgement until I actually play it.

Don't get me wrong, I'll be playing it. I just want to actually play it before we stack it up against the best games of the genre. People just like to jump to conclusions based on screenshots. I wasn't the one who brought Braid into the discussion.

Yea this has been out there for a while. But I don't want to have to leave my laptop on all the time, and I like using it for tips if I'm stuck for more than a half hour, or surfing the web during multiplayer matchmaking.
