[QUOTE="Mavrickkal"]Considering the required hardware improvements, would you be willing to shell out 600-650 for a new Xbox system with only minor graphical improvements over the PS3?Riverwolf007

I don't understand where you are going with this? Isn't the PS3 a system with just minor graphical improvements over the 360?

And that's giving the benefit of the doubt that the PS3 really is better at gfx than the 360 is. Sure I think it has an edge but there are plenty of people here that don't.

The Xbox 360 hardware design flaws are becoming more widely known (Not refering to the RRoD). From Disc Capaicty Space to HDD issues. True the Ps3 is only minorly graphiclly superior to the 360 it's hardware and design is greatly superior. MS knows this and has begun taking steps to correct it (Redesigning the the Dash for example.). But not all the of the issues can be fixed through firmware updates. Plus with the 5 yr Console lifespan approaching MS could be considering announcing a new system. To Match PC gaming quality and keep up with the design specs of PS3. It would easily be priced at 600 bucks. Thats why I asked the question. The 360 is a great machine but I don't see it outlasting the 5 yr mark by much. Now also take into account how long it's been taking devs to put out games for this generation of consoles and many people seem to think they would just jump on a new console without any gripes, I seriously doubt it. Devs I believe would much rather sit with this gen of consoles longer and really push the machines to their limits before moving on. But like I said before because of the 360's hardware limits moving forward even now devs are starting to embrace the Ps3. MS only solution would be to release a new system in the next 2yrs in order to continue to beat sony, but considering the price of the system in order for it to include all of the ps3's features plus more and be graphically superior would put the system at a very high price which could very well backfire.

For any console? I'll have to disagree with you there and say that Naruto: Broken Bond will be much better.

U are wat I like to call delusional, the fighting engine on Nuns is the best Naruto fighting engine to date. it's fluid and captures the anime/manga perfectly and now that it sounds like the story mode is gonna be amazing this game is going to be the best naruto game to date.

yes absolutely my beliefs the fact that not every title requires some kind of major announcement is completely wrong. Shame, Shame on me! How dare I, I will go sit in a corner now and Sulk....gimme a break.heretrix

That's true. God forbid Sony would tell you that a game is coming out. Jeez, marketing is for suckas.

Sony is amazing, first they don't have to pay people to make games for their system and now they don't have to announce when a game is coming out. What next? The games will start playing themselves?

It's not sony's job to announce every single title coming out on their platform from 3rd party devs. like I said I'm content with not every single game being paraded around like a godsend. so far like I said before, every single JRPG To come out on the 360 has been touted the bringer of the next generation of JRPGS, but wound up leaving so so many with the taste of meh in their mouth. I expect sony praise everyone of their 1st party and 2nd party games but I don't expect them sing the word of every 3rd party unless they absolutely know it's going to make an insane splash.

And I can see how that's helped their 3rd party support this generation.

first off sony is absolutely right when saying that this generation a large majority of 3rd party devs are going to go multiplat. Microsoft can pay for it's timed exclusives but soon the timed delays will only be reduced to 1 or 2 weeks. Developers are going to start rejecting overall exclusives when they realize they can make more going multiplat. Plus at the end of the day it will be up to devs if their game will be exclusive and the major factor of that will be which console has better ability of actualizing their visions. You may not want to admit it or you just may not notice it but slowly the ps3 has began to pull ahead of the 360 in it's capabilities and graphical power of it's games. Devs are taking notice, as they port over these titles to the ps3 they learning how to develop on it. Now that they are becoming familiar with the system they are blatantly seeing we're it is way superior to the Xbox 360. Moving forward more console dedicated devs are going to begin building their games on the ps3 platform and porting them to the 360.

This is horrible lol There are going to be a ton of kids in this area unless there is a better way of ensuring ageroc321
I seriously doubt that they are going to serving up porn in the adult areas. It's probably access to r rated trailers, perhaps minor online betting, some mature desktop themes, M rated demos. I seriously doubt they are planning to throw TNA on home. I could be wrong though some people believe the one of the reasons blu-ray won was because it allowed Porn companies to use it's format. Thats right folks eventually we will be seeing Hi-def Pr0n!

[QUOTE="Mavrickkal"][QUOTE="Brainkiller05"]I'm trying to think of a way they could actually make sure you're 18... though I don't think they can :? I'm sure kids will make a new PSN account saying they're 18 (if that's how it works) to get around it :PJynxzor

very simple your account has to be tied to a credit card. problem solved.

your absolutely right, don't want your debit/credit card tied to it then you simply can't access the 18+ features. you would still have access to everything else home has to offer.

Not everyone wants to tie there PSN account to a credit card.

Possibly check your credit card, i guess.

This is great. I want virtual pr0n and game pr0ns.

What's stopping the kid from using his parents credit card? There is no way they are going to be able to keep out all the kids

Tru but sony can't be held accountable for kids doing things like that without their parents knowledge. I'm not a parent yet but if or when I become I would expect to have complete knowledge of the things my Credit card is tied to. On the flipside as a parent you can't be angry if you allowed your child to tie your credit card to something without complete knowledge of all it's features.

[QUOTE="Mavrickkal"][QUOTE="flowdee79"]360 has an insane library anyway, its more varied than the PS3. It has JRPGs like Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, etc.heretrix

For all the JRPGS that 360 seems to be parading around tales of vesperia is the only really making a splash. Every other one has been called unbeliviably average with easily forgetable characters and luke warm gameplay mechanics. really lets stop pretending like everyone of those titles has even compared to 1/5th of the amount of good Jrpgs on the ps2

They're all better than the Jrpg offerings on the PS3 for the forseeable future.

Your absolutely right, However I'm also going under the simple belief that not every JRPG on the ps3 requires a major announcement and many will probably fly under the radar untill a few months before their release. the 360 is so happy to finally be getting any JRPGs they parade each one around like a golden idol.

Since there are no real JRPGs of note on the PS3, I'd have to say that you'd be incorrect in sticking to that belief.
