Its finally here, Gamer Guys and Gals, I, the Metal_Gear_Hero proudly bring to you all tonight…THE HEROYS!

This is a night to remember! It’s so great to see you all here! Tonight, December 21st 2004! SEVERALCategories. MANY Winners! We’re deadest on leaving 2004 with a virtual BANG!

HEY! TeknoMan! You’ve got to park that Black Lion OUTSIDE! Don’t worry, we won’t start the show without ya!

Before we kick off the festivities, I would like to make a very special announcement.

As of January 1st, 2005, the Justice Five (made up of Gamespot’s very own Dark_Priestess, Max65 AKA Teknoman AKA The Sig Technician Magician, Wedgewu, and Crimson_Waltz *formerly Black_Waltz_3*) will OFFICIALLY EXPAND!

Together, we will ensure that Gamespot.com will be a safe, secure and fun virtual community!

With all sincerity, I do not wish to embarrass her by taking note of her, but I would like to make everyone aware of SolLunaAme’s choice of FFX’s Lulul’s dress! Because of its…uniqueness, and to keep from any Janet Jackson-like incident, please refrain from making her move as much as possible!

The first category pays homage to the Gamespotter’s who grace the Journals with their completely awesome titles! And the WINNERS of the first-ever “End of the Year” Heroy award are…

Best Journal Titles:
1. Xtremevillan’s Anthology of Events: Dude isn’t numero uno for no reason!
2. The Farplane Glen: Max65 = oWnAgE over all!
3. Explosivo: The name says it all! BOOM!

At this time, I’d like to acknowledge Cparker1980 for this closeness to winning one of these Heroys! The only reason he didn’t?!? Well, the man ISN’T a Disturbed Person like his journal title would suggest! Heh heh, but seriously, I’d like to take this time now to congratulate the man on his future child! We may not see much of him after the birth, what, with the responsibility and all. So let’s cherish the time we have with him now!

The second Heroy category honors the ART found in a Journal Banner. It’s the banner, after all, that can make the common journal an extraordinary one!

Thirdly, the Heroys would like to give proper recognition to the Gamespot citizen who most effectively utilizes the Journal with crafty content and unmatched style!

Undisputedly, how could one argue anything else? With her unique style and friendly approach, every one of Dark_Priestess’ journal entries are a “must-read” for all of her Friends at Gamespot.com!

This category seeks out SPECIFIC reasons as to why a Gamespot user’s Journal is well above “average”.

1. Zanarkand_chick: no one on gamespot.com comes close to Z_C’s intriguing and eye-catching journal entry titles!

I would like to take this opportunity to recognize Luckycharmed as a VERY close runner-up for this particular award. Her entry concerning the origin of the Candy Cane made her a definite contender for the award and made her journals popular amongst countless Gamespot users!

Back from bannage, this gamer was knocked down by the Powers that Be and instead of turning back and running, he proceeds to ascend the virtual Tower once again! It’s hard to get more Heroic than that!

With the new year, comes CHANGES! Now that the Heroys are over (you won’t see them until the end of 2005!), the next thing on this Hero’s list is the establishment of the Champion Foundation! Gamespotters can request a membership if you’d like, just PM me with your request! Some gamers, who I’ve already got in mind, will be notified by me via PM, requesting their membership. There is NO PRESSURE to those I request a membership…just the fate of the virtual world is all!

My good friend Metal_Gear_Hero is hosting the Heroy Awards in his journal. You will have the presence of celebrities such as SolLunaAme!!!!! MrWisdom!!! , The Justice Five and many more!!

Well I'll be gone from Gamespot for some time. There are some things I need to take care of and some that I need to straighten up; otherwise I might end up hurting some really close friends of mine. Lately I haven't been exactly been the best person to be around and I'm afraid of what it may cause. Hopefully I'll come back soon.

This is keeping me from posting, and a friend said if I didn't reach 10k before christmas, or at least new year the Universe would implode :P so far I have 9220 posts :P

Here's what I've made lately.

still working on it, specially in regard to the font/color.

made the background lighter and played a bit with font color (I know it looks crazy :P)

Changed the way the text looks.

I'll keep on working,

Count is now 14 days of photoshop use.

Lately I've been trying to see what I can make in Photoshop and so far this is what I've managed to do...

I've got a long way to go, but I'm happy with what I've managed to do :).
