You'd need to buy the i7 cpu, a new mobo to support the i7 cpu, and ddr3 ram if you don't already have it. You're looking at around $500-$700+ just for those components.

well i dont know too much about overclocking, but i would be willing to give it a chance if it will make a my games run faster, but if i have to buy a better fan i might as well get a faster cpu, unless i could get a good fan very cheap. also i chose that power supply because i have a 30% off code for it jtparlo

You will have to buy a better heatsink, but even with the price of an after-market heatsink, it still won't equal the price of a cpu that's a few steps up. For example, the E8400 is $164.99, and the price of an E5200 with an after-market heatsink, such as the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 is just $109.98. It's up to you though, for ease, you could get something like the E8400 and use stock cooling. You'd probably get about the same performance out of the E8400 stock as with the E5200 overclocked.

If you have the choice, I'd definitely go with vista 64bit. No reason to get 32bit unless you already have it or can get it a lot cheaper.

If you're comfortable with overclocking, the E5200 is a breeze to overclock.

Eh, I don't know about a recertified gpu. It should be ok, but for around the same price you could get a brand new 4850. Or just go for this...

You won't notice any difference between the 9800gtx and the 9800gtx+.

Man I've really got to chk my settings cause or definitly try to run crysis on very high cause high just isn't doing what those screens are showing. Is crysis automatically on Dx10? Or have you got to run it on very high to get dx10?GreyFoXX4

A lot of the Crysis pics that look amazing are using custom textures and other tweaks, like messing with the time of day settings to get the best possible lighting for a pic.

my brothers pc has no front fans, so which way should the rear fan be?Chris_53

Position them so that they blow air out the back of the case.

If you have front case fans, then they should suck in, and the rear fans blow out. This creates airflow across your hardware. If you just have the rear fans and no front fans, it's better to have the rear fans blowing out, to release the heat being produced by the cpu, gpu, and psu.

If you're not too worried about price, why not shoot for something a little better, like a gtx260? I'm not very experienced with the manufacturers for Nvidia cards, but if it were me, I'd go with something by Evga just because of their step-up program.
