I don't think there's any choice but to camp, if you run around like a headless chicken you get picked off left right and centre, I discovered this early.

The spawning and some of the maps which can trap you into an area and give you no chance of getting out if a team has positioned themselves correctly is also frustrating.

I also hate the way care packages fall outside the map quite often....what are you suppose to do wait in the middle of the map for it and hope you don't get shot......c'mon no way should they be able to go outside the map and leave you no chance of using them.

To be honest you pay for the game don't see why you should pay for the Online service (fortunately you can still get this free). If I had to pay I wouldn't play it not because it's too expensive but simply out of principle......we have to pay for extra content which is fine but if they did it for Online multiplayer like money mad Microsoft then there's no way I'd pay for it.

People who want to pay for it are frankly lacking in common sense IMO, once they start charging it will be a neverending cycle of costs.....personally find the network great as it is.

Thanks for the advice guys!

Gotta say there's quite a lot of open levels which encourage you to camp, problem with this is you can be sitting there for ages waiting to see someone, I still say moving around is too hard and you more often than not get shot.

I don't mind camping but I prefer mixing it up, as it get's boring sitting in one place all the time. Anyway I still say the online experience is a lot harsher this time round than it was in the 1st one can't just be down to people getting good as it would be the same for the 1st game otherwise...it simply isn't.

I'm using Wireless and I'm finding it really hard to get into the Online play, it seems significantly harder than the MW1.

It connects fine but sometimes it's like hitting your head against a brick wall trying to get a kill.

Have to say I'm not finding MW2 Online that much fun at the moment, the feeling is one of immense frustration everywhere you move you get shot if you don't someone sneaks up behind you and shoots you.

Sometimes you can be shooting someone for 2-3 seconds and they kill you with one shot and to top it all over I got killed by my own care package landing on me yesterday :|

It seems to be far too easy to get killed with people camping allover the place. I'm also finding killstreaks really hard to come by and when i do get a care package using it can be near impossible as someone comes round the corner and kills you before you even get a chance to use it.

Online is definitely more difficult, I've just unlocked the hardcord mode which I prefer as the other modes see you shooting someone for several seconds only for them to shoot kill you!

Hardcore is more realistic and for that reason fun.

My favourite weapons so far are either the RPD or M240.

Yup tried resetting, the weird thing is the buttons work because with the "Strategy Mark" display thing if you press the buttons they highlight on unhighlight or the screen.

Reall weird problem, I've been playing "Become a legend" and I'll make runs through the defence only to be unable to shoot at the end.

Ok so I'm having this really weird problem in PES 2010, the buttons work fine in the menu's (square, circle, triangle and x) etc but when it comes to playing they often just don't work, i.e I go to shoot and the player just doesn't shoot.

Just been free training and I can't pass, shoot lob or anything so I'm stuck running around doing nothing else. Anybody have any idea what's wrong, they seem to work fine on other games and as mentioned in the menu's as well.

No seriously, I would think it's mostly likely the fan bearing, fans will get worn over time...I'd be surrpised if it was the drive.

I hope your right. Sooo should I try and replace the fan or buy one of those intercooler things or should I stop being Paranoid and go back to enjoying Fallout 3 and MW2.

Well if you're feeling confident about opening up the PS3 by all means do it, you might be able to get away with lubricating the fan if it is that, alternatively just change it as suggested.

If it's the fan it will need replacing eventually as it won't be able to spin quick enough to cool the system down.

Here's a link on how to disasemble a PS3 if you fancy having a go: http://www.llamma.com/PS3/repair/PS3_disassembly_tutorial.htm

You could ring Sony and ask, to see what they suggest but if it's out of warranty they aren't going to fix it without you having to pay out.
