[QUOTE="Mcgnnis1"]So about couple of months ago when MK vs DC Universe was just about to release, i was in my local Gamestop store just browsing through games and i saw this group of people playing Super Smash Brothers Brawl and they were talking tot he girl was was workign at the Gamestop at that time and that is their conversation and i swear that this is exactly what i heard,
guy playing SSBB: Man i cannot wait to play MK vs DC...imagine Batman vs Superman..
GS Employee: Wait...why is Superman in this game? isn't he a Marvel character?
right after i heard that i was like WTF!!! she just did not said that...this is ignorance on a massive scale...i mean she didn't knew that Superman was from DC?...okay let m finish the converstaion between these two,
guy playing SSBB: Superman is not from Marvel...he is from DC...
GS Employee: Superman is DC? Since when?
guy playing SSBB: since 1938...
GS Employee: oh wow..i did not knew that..
and after that she went to do some other stuff and the guys left the store and i was just standing there wondering that i just witnessed the biggest act of ignorance regarding Superman. I mean how can she not know that Superman is from DC..evryone who know atleast a slight bit of pop culture should know that..so my question..have you encountered a similiar situation when someone infront of said something really ignorant and stupid regarding a comic book character?
and again i am NOT making this up...it really happened.

Maybe it's time for YOU to get your priorities straight when you actually get worked up over someone not knowing that Superman is a DC comics character.
No offense.
But I mean, REALLY. On the list of things that "everyone should know", which comic book company created Superman has got to be pretty damn close to the bottom of the list. And that's if that even makes the list at all.
Remember that you're getting worked up over freaking SUPERMAN.
You are making me look like i threw a fit over this like one of those idiotic fanboys...the reason i was shocked was that there were posters in the entire store of various dc characters and she still didn't knew...that pretty ignorant even if you didn't knew anything about comics..and what's up with "freaking Superman"...

I don't think Ubisoft Montreal has made a bad POP game yet. I loved the entire Sands Of Time trilogy and I loved this year's new entry. People just didn't like Warrior Within's darker change in direction after the whimsical The Sands Of Time, but I personally didn't mind it. The only thing I really didn't like about WW's presentation was the change of voice actor for The Prince. Silent-Hal
Yeah same here. i also loved the entire Sands of Time trilogy, i just don't know why so many people and critics hated the darker tone. I can understand the voice changeover but its not that big of a deal that people keep makign fun of the music and the tone.
I was just talking with my friends about the new Prince of Persia and he was telling me that how better it was from the previous two games and the mature factor and the "obnoxious" rock music turned the series into a mediocre franchise and blah blah. But am i the only one who really enjoyed these two games? i mean i am a sucker for metal so the inclusion in the warrior within was pretty sweet for me and the mature storyline was also pretty awesome to me but why does so many people say bad things about these two games?I mean i understand that different people has different tastes but if a good game is a good game no matter what isn't it?
