WOW!! Are you Nintendo fanboys serious with this? Nobody and I mean NOBODY that I know that plays games owns a Wii!!! The Wii is a niche console...a secondary console at best! Look at it library of games. Nobody that plays Madden, FPS's or action games like DMC or GTA would ever think of owning a Wii! While I cant speak for the legions of 9-14 year oldsthat own Wii's and thoroughly enjoy hours upon hours of SSBB or Zelda, but I can assure you that gamers between the ages of 18-40 wont choose to buy/play a Wii over a PS3 or 360!!! kungfuchaos

Absurd I own a Wii a PC and have a bro with a 360 a Ps3 and a PC, We play our PC's the most and my Wii the 2nd most. The 360 and Ps3 havent got anythign to play that isnt better on the PC or just plain isnt worth our time.

Well it's THE next data and movie format so people need to just get over their stupid fanboyism and accept it. Probably all the next consoles will use it (with more layers and faster read speeds of course).Lazy_Boy88

Unless those prices drop fast, its not going to beat DLC to the punch, and personaly CD's for data storage is fine, but HDD and RAM drives are the way of gamings furture..

52x drives are a thing of the past, the rate at which RAM can read and write is really where Console should be going.

Here i was thinking there was nothing but good Multiplat games on the PS3, good thing am not blind dumbass..

I have a PC and a Wii, personaly all you graphics people all bought the wrong console for Superior AI and psyics, and good games period. The PC is the way of the future if you look the 360 and PS3 way, If you look the other way you see nothing but Wii.

The PS3 has no reason to be owned PERIOD no killer App, no remarkable game only on the system no casual magnet, no Parrty game that can top any one of the Wii's party games, no shooter to top Halo or Gears, no Racer Atm to top Froza 2..

PoS3 has jack and yet you think your the smart consumer for buying that? Give me a break, maybe in 2 years it will have something comparable to Nintendo's first party and rapidly rising 3rd party, but I highly doubt that. It may for some reason out sell the Xbox 360, and the only reason its going to do that is because peopel like you buy it for the name, not the games..

Way to go fanboy.

Bleh, WoW, such a tragedy.

I wouldn't really call all that playtime something to brag about... seriously.. lol

DragonfireXZ95

Ah you must have missed the part where I said am not bragging about that, and yes WoW is in fact a plague on gamers and must be stopped. Either way it's the fact that I have played more SSBM then I have played WoW, and I have enjoy'd every min of it. :D

Smash brothers from the get go has been nothing but great. I have not met one person in real life who can honestly tell me that they dont enjoy a good game of smash brothers (Melee or 64).

Now what i would like to explain to you is why a game like SSBM was so amazing.

First off the wow factor as i like to call it. i do in fact play world of warcraft, I have 1 70 and a few 50's and many 30ish charecters. It is about a combined gameplay time of about 74 days. Now their are many ways to say 74 days, 2 months and 2 days, or for a pretty shocking number 1776 hours.

Now this isnt about braging how much of my life i through at VG's it's more to show you on what your missing out on if you miss Brawl. As Brawl will have roughly 2 to 3 times the content Melee has in it i can only assume I will be able to play it far more into the future.

Lets go back to that number though 1776 hours I have logged into WOW, now it may come to a suprise to you that not all 1776 hours of that playing was what I would call fun, but i did it anyway, so thats that. Every single time I play melee I enjoy it like some of them old school SNES games, or hell even some very good PS1 games like MGS and Xenogears. Here is where I shall convince you that not only is Super smash bros a must have game for any sane gamer, or hell even a casual.

Since realese date I have 2237 hours logged into SSBM, this is far more playtime then you get for your average offline game for 60$, not only that it probably is my most played game ever. Key-word being offline, as SSBB has online and am pretty sure I will die a happy man playing it.

So fellow SSBM players go to your archives and look up your total play time! Post it here. Don't let people you think you hate miss out on this game, games like this dont come very often, and the way things are going with this 6 hours single player game BS, I dont know if there ever will be another game like it!
