Well I remebere how Shadow the Hedgehog, while such an aweful game, sold preety well, so the PS3/360 Sonic game are using some of the same elements with veichles and all that, maybe the Wii one can be saved, but for me, Sonic died with the DC (some argue when he went 3D but I liked Sonic Adventure).
Anyways, with such terrible reviews and concepts, its likely hardcore gamers would avoid it, because its "sonic" and looks kiddish, casuals would probably avoid all the lame sonic games coming out lately, so the only thing I can see the huge sales coming from, are children, or very hardcore sonic fans. I mean like, I can imagine a little 8 year old kid loving to shoot bad guys using shadow or driving with veichles, but thats not what Sonic was all about.
I remebere back in the day, how amazing Sonic games used to be, and now they've been lowered to mostly garbage and a few okay ones.. I wonder if I'll ever enjoy a Sonic game again, people keep saying how the Wii one is more "old school" so it should be good, but I'm not going to get my hopes up.
Dammit... how come fools on system wars with no intelligence who post crap every other post, are allowed to move freely, but we always get suspensions.. and bans... Anyways, its even worse now because its causing one of our long term memeberes to leave :( no good can come of this.
Square-Enix. If FFXIII is half as fun as it looks, it may be the best RPG next-gen, FFvsXIII could be amazing too, since KH's dark scenes were quite amazing, so having an entire game like that, could be awesome.
Bioware has made alot of amazing games, but they were never No.1 for me, but we'll see for the future I guess.
UGH RELIENT K gross.. Anyways, this isn't coming anywhere near me, but if they roll Wii Kiosks into my EBs or Best Buys(best buy apparantly at end of oct by rumour) I'll try it then, so far I'm still on the fence for choice though.
Wait is Nintendo aiming at a "different" kind of audiance with its ads and stuff now? It showed a goth kid playing some Wii games in some ads before, and now they have Relient K for there tour.. woulden't wana play online with THOSE kinds of people >_
Yeah Lost Planet really isn't getting the attention it deserves. GeoW looks great, and probably plays great, but it looks like nothing new. Better AI might improve the experiance.. but meh.
