That looks pretty good although I'm a bit worried about using a less known company. Is Digital Storm pretty reputable?

What's the best gaming laptop I could buy for under 1500 dollars? preferably with a pretty big screen. I mean I know I can't get top the line but could I get something that runs Starcraft 2 pretty to really well?

Also, I don't mind if its fairly large. This will be a portable desktop mostly.

I was wondering what a good gaming l laptop would be. I want it to be a laptop but I don't need it to be super lightweight or portable, although it's obviously a bonus if it isn't clunky. My price range is about 1000-2000 dollars. The main games I play at the moment is Starcraft2, which has pretty low minimum settings but I want to be able to run it at good FPS and not worry about lagging/running other stuff. Hopefully it would be good enough to last me for a feww years. Thanks.

Also, it needs to have a good sized screen. That's partially why I don't want it to super light, I want a good sized screen.

I grew up not really playing pokemon, as the only gaming console i ever had until last year with my xbox 360 was my PC. Having missed out, I want to try pokemon.

Starting from scratch, if I want to play pokemon, what is the best way to do it? Should I buy a DS and buy one of the newest games? Should I buy a gameboy advanced and play oine of the older games? What's the cheapest way to play one of the best pokemon games.

I mostly don't have internet except for once eveyr few days (how i'm posting this), so i would love to play SC2 offline.

I have an account, i have a character on that account, I have even played a Battle.net game. I have no clue how much more i could "authorize" my game client. Honestly... and yet still, when I don't have internet, it gives me that same stupid message, that you need to "authorize" the game client using Bnet. Please help? I have played a game online, what more can I do.

In my testing of what's wrong, if I connect to Bnet, then logout and disconnect my internet, yes, I can connect offline perfectly fine. Yet if I even RESTART starcraft between my connection to the MP, i can't play offline.

Could it be that I authenticated it through an internet cafe? (starbucks)

And for people saying it requires broadband internet connection, this is a quote from a blizzard employee (forget who)

"You don't technically have to (login), but you'll want to. You can play in offline mode if you want - I just don't think you're going to want to. You'll be giving up lots and lots of features, and why would you want to be giving up features?"

So yes, unless they made a false claim about their product, you can play offline.

SMG2. But I think the decision is between ME2 and SMG2 atm, with Halo Reach a possibly good contender.

I'm kinda surprised some people havnt heard of starcraft. Starcraft is one of the biggest competitive games out there, (admittedly it is nearly all in Korea... but still the korea starcraft enviroment ios probably the place with the most esports and etc, it is a HUGE deal there). It also sold a ton of copies back in the day, 11 million or so. Obviously, some people just never hear of games, but if people are critized for not having heard of tons of other games, Starcraft 1 was one of the most important games in gaming history imo, mostly because again the SC competitive scene in Korea is easily the place in the world with the most importance placed on ESports, they have TV channels for it and everything, very mainstream. Nowhere else comes close.

I think games are worth it easily at 60. I would pay more if I absolutely had to. Im sometimes amzed by how many hours of fun i get for 60 bucks, with games like CoD, ME2, Borderlands, etc. Theyre a fantastic deal. I do often try and buy used games to save money, and those are closer to 20-30 bucks. But while I will try and pay as little as possible, it doesnt mean that I dont think that 60 bucks is fair/.

Hmmm... it's decent, I think the Orange Box (3 games with 2 expansions) for like 30$ these days. That or a MP shooter, because it has so much replayability. But as Multiplayer shhoter is cheating imo (so easy to pour hundreds of hours into that), the Orange Box seems to reign supreme, it's just such a good deal.
