I've seen topics about this with other games, and what might be happening is that the game is designed to run at 720 and your settings are for 1080? Check your resolution settings for the game and make sure you're using the right output on the PS3...

CBottom7

This. Does not happen to me because I believe my TV auto sets itself :/.

It is the PS3 outputting to the TV, so I doubt it "Sets itself" - your TV would have to tell your PS3 to run at the approved setting ... and that - Does NOT happen.

Go bash another topic about a game you haven't even played

Oh my heart, she is hurt.

Yes, Demon's Souls is fine without the online part. I do not know that many people that actually use the online element of the game. It is fun, seeing other souls walking around once in a while, or seeing tips on the ground, but other then that it's nothing special.

Just buy the game.

Wow... really?

The only part of this post you should pay attention to is 'Just buy the game.' The online portion of the game adds so much to the game, but if you've never experienced it then you won't know what it is that you've missed out on. The game on it's own is fantastic, no doubt, butplayingonline adds so much more to an already great game. So I would recommend purchasing it regardless, but I assure you that the online portion of the game is great.

I have experienced it, plenty of time. I worked with others souls to complete certain areas, and I have invader a persons game or two. But it's not going to MAKE the game. Just playing Demon's Souls is a blast, I do enjoy seeing other peoples left behind warnings and seeing a fellow soul walking about, but again he should still buy the game none the less.

Im looking for a game with LOTS of replay value and strong online mode (to keep me busy till MvC3, KZ3, LBP2 )

I am deciding between:

Battlefield Bad Company 2 ( how is the online ?? still played ?)

Red Dead Redemption ( is the online active ??? is it fun ? played ?)

Demons Soul ( I know its pretty darn hard to beat, but i like the RPG style, medieval theme and so on )

Modern Warfare 2 ( I know it has a strong online, and its cheap right now )

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit ( its gonna be half price during black friday sales, and looks fun online ! )

Fat Princess + DLC (I so loved this demo, really fun to play and the DLC makes it better, is it really played to date ? does it gets boring fast ?)

Super Stree Fighter 4 ( looks really good, lots of characters, cheap price, still active online ? )

I think only these ones so far, and besides being my choices they are below 30$

Also I will be getting GT5 when i find it cheap online.

suggest please!!

Sir... Get Demon's Souls, you know you want to, and you also know you want to dance. Follow you're heart and dance while playing Demon's Souls.

Fallout 3 GotY Edition.Fenian_lostsoul
Easily... Fallout 3 alone had a nice amount, with the GOTY edition, you get like, an extra 20 more! ( maybe less, I don't know :P )

[QUOTE="bluezclue"]I played heavenly sword without trophies as did I resistance and uncharted 1... I wouldnt skip a game if it didnt have trophies if it interest me. It has its uses on certain games, for instance Burnout, if I just want to cruise around, its a lil fun searching for billboards and what not to smash through to get a trophy...MonkeySpot

My copy of "Uncharted" had trophies...

:?

It was with an update, was not in the game until Uncharted 2 was about to pop out. Also, are you home at you're house? Or do you have a wife/kid/annoying neighbor that plays you're ps3?

trophies are meaningless to me. the game is its own reward.

i come from the time when your only trophy was getting your name on the high score screen (hence my screen name) i get why ppl like them. they add replay value and are almost like side missions to the game in some cases. but trophies will NEVER be a deciding factor in a game purchase for this guy.

I use to love playing in arcades when I was a wee little thing :P.
