I don't loathe anybody except for Xbox owners (for ruining so many good PC games) and the closest of those groups would be Pop.

Pop music is for people who don't really like music. They need something to put on in the background while they go to the dentist or something stupid like that. It's "music" in the literal sense but it's so far from what makes music worth listening too. There's no art in it at all.

Xbox is the same way. It's a gaming system for people who don't really care about gaming. They buy a gaming system so they can play Madden while the NFL is in the offseason and then let it collect dust the rest of the year. Sure it's a "gaming system" but what makes a gamer is his desire to game...not to pass the time between events he actually does desire. Again, total lack of art.

But devs have started to ignore the PC as the ultimate gaming platform because Microsoft wants the Xbox to replace the PC's gaming ability so they can stop focusing on gaming support in the OSes. J Allard is the spawn of satan and he took a giant dump on gaming and gamers when he took charge of MS's gaming. Gaming on a gamepad is not.

Oh and Halo...is there anything worse to ever happen to gaming than Halo? It's like fly paper for casuals. I can't tell you how many self-proclaimed gamers I've met whos gaming experiences are limited to Halo and everything that came after it. Totally ignorant to the fact that gaming has been around a lot longer than Halo.
