@Threadstarter: I'm in the same boat as you. Volleyball season picked up, and school + 3 hour practices gives me little time to play my 360 or PC. So I went out and bought a DS Lite (Not trade-in.) The DSi might have DSi exclusive games in the future, but I can't see me caring that much about the DS in the future when I will have more time for my 360 and PC, so I went with the DS Lite to save some money. It's been great so far and has been really doing what I wanted; filling in those small gaps of time. I'd say go for it.

[QUOTE="Slambo86"][QUOTE="MetalHead427"][QUOTE="Slambo86"] At the MOMENT! But the 360 has had MORE than enough chances/time to prove its self SUPERIOR. the PS3 did it in less time...with supposedly inferior hardware (yeh-no) and complex hardware. LOL let it go. All i'm saying is the 360 isn't what many believe it is. (hardware-wise) Both are almost equal at what they can do, but the PS3 does have more raw power. Stated by quite a few developers. TO get to this untapped power you need quite the effort due to the complex design. Why do you think only few are succeeding, mainly the 1st party developers.

Wait, now you are talking about hardware? If that's the case, see the 4 part series of graphic comparisons between the 360 and PS3 (pssst, for the same games.) Peace.

Um, i was always referring to hardware...lol. Its through one ear out the other with you...and in this case (blind?) But i'm the KID, what do i know. LMFAO! oh, the irony. Funny stuff. Still dodging my question...cute.

You've always been talking about hardware. 3+ years means more dated. I stated that with my first post. I answered your question, I could not tell you a game as I have not seen Killzone 2, and the most recent game I bought for my 360 was Fallout 3, after that, COD4. So why are you still here? I have proved you wrong in Engine and Hardware aspects. I'd stop before you make yourself look any less educated. Edit* Time for the last kill: You asked how do games get better looking each year? But you just stated you were always talking about hardware. I don't know about you, but I'm pretty sure games don't put a new GPU inside my 360, as well as your PS3. Victory.

[QUOTE="Slambo86"][QUOTE="MetalHead427"]I haven't played any new games on my 360, nor have I seen anything on killzone 2. So you are acting like it's final that killzone 2 has the best graphics period? Wait, didn't you say that games look better each year? You're up past your bed time. Get a fresh start in the morning please.

^^Mafia was very fun. I'll go with Half Life 2. The game just blew me away. Ravenholm itself iced the cake.

I just bought my DS Lite with Pokemon Platinum and Lego Star Wars Complete Saga. Pokemon is fun (played up to Crystal), and Lego Star Wars is awesome too. I like them equal, but I have spent more time with Platinum. I've read around the forums about DS graphics, and the Lego Games are severely underrated. From screenshots, they appear to be the most graphically advanced in my eyes.

[QUOTE="MetalHead427"][QUOTE="Slambo86"] BINGO. 360 has been praised again and again about having a superior GPU, unified shaders, Easier to develop architecture, better tools...yet 3+ years nothing matches K2, from not only a visual standpoint but a technical one. Developers have had all that time with all those advantages yet..the results don't match K2.

Slambo86

3+ Years means the 360 should technically look worse, not equivalent. Basically, you're telling me the 4 year old 6800 GTX looks better than a modern GTX280? LOL kid get real.

Err, what? LOL, how in the blue hell did you come to that conclusion? More time spent on a supposedly superior hardware should get MORE BETTER RESULTS. LOL, how do you think games look better every year? Worse LOGIC ever, KID!

Worst***^^ And I see what you are saying now, you are talking about the games, not the hardware. So let me correct you again. You are acting as if the 360 should have better graphics because the game has had longer time to develop. Wrong. Games aren't released on the same build engine even IF they were being created since the 360's release. How do I think games look better every year? Engine updates. So when kiddies say "technical" in graphical comparison, such as yourself, read my the specs from a game. Oh wait, you can't, they don't have specs. Read me the engine specs, oh wait, those aren't physical. In conclusion, you contradicted yourself. You are acting as if it is FINAL that Killzone 2 has better graphics that what a 360 can have. And yet you stated that games look better each year. Cya.
