it surely affects mine, but in a small pourcentage, i think the gameplay and the story of the game is really more important than anything, like 70% or more of the game. but good graphics is always better ^^. But that's for new games, new games with good graphics means that the enterprise who made it is wealthy and did invest on it. We can't ask for perfect graphics for old games.
well i think in some way, even if the FFs aren't sequels, and have almost nothing to do with each other, there MAY BE a connection, which i think is quite possible. That may be one of the intriguing things that square-enix/squaresoft have may added just to make things more exciting ^^. Just like in KH2, amazingly, all the characters from FFVII, FFVIII, FFIX and FFX seems to know each other and reunited in one single place, Hollow Bastion, that is. Those things may seem strange but apparently, they seem have some kind of connection, but they like, live in other dimensions, so they may be connected by soul or crap O_O i dont know haha.
