I have to defend belrock here. Why buy a new system that plays the same exact games for $170 bucks??? I think Nintendo is just trying to make people waste money.
Well if you trade in, then it only costs $100. There are more improvements and it will have games of its own(though I wouldn't expect very many exclusives other than minigames from the DSi shop), there are still advantages to buying one. The DSi is only as much a waste of money as you want it to be. You think it's a waste of money, so for you it would be. Others don't so it wouldn't be a waste for them.
The only peopleI could think of that this wouldn't be a waste of money for is people that have never owned a DS system.
What is the big deal about a system that has new new exclusive games? What is the big deal about a system that you can do the same things on an ipod or even cell phone? I took my money off DSi yesterday from gamestop and haven't looked back personally the only good games like the new Zelda coming out and Pokemon are all I care about and it can be played on a regular DS. DSi what a joke.
