 It doesn't matter. The question is irrelevant considering that Japan was the one manufacturing the major consoles before Microsoft came in the industry. Hence your rhetorical question serves no purpose in this argument. Its like me saying which console has ever won without support from USA and Europe. We've already seen sales figures. USA+Europe marketshare dwarfs Japans marketshare.
