Ever since I bought my own PlayStation 3 I have been randomly hearing popping sounds in my room. Everytime I have the PS3 on for some reason it will start making these popping sounds. It kinda sounds like it's being crushed but there is nothing on top of the PS3 or around it.

My older brother bought a PS3 last summer, and his never made that kind of sound.

I bought my own PlayStation 3 back in January or February of this year.

So I was just wondering...
Does anyone else's PS3 make popping sounds?

My PlayStation 3 is the 80gig one.
